    O/S Daily Tuesday 14 March 2017

This is an !!!8220;over the garden fence!!!8221; type thread where we chat about everything Old Style and maybe a little bit more. It!!!8217;s a great, inspiring and motivating thread we start each day to discuss what Old Style things we!!!8217;re going to do today or what we!!!8217;ve achieved already. Everyone!!!8217;s welcome, please do come in, put your feet up (although check the fence hasn!!!8217;t just been painted first!) and join us for an Old Style natter. The more the merrier!

As this is the Old Style Board, it would be appreciated if posts could include some Old Style content. Please be aware that many people may have small screens, or SLOW internet connections, so please don!!!8217;t post large pictures, or clip art !!!8211; links are preferred. When you make a post, if you feel like giving it a title, that will help others that don!!!8217;t have the time to read everything skim through the thread quickly but if not it's not a problem. Please do not start a new daily thread before you go to bed at night because this often leaves things confusing with two daily threads live at the same time. The idea is that a member would start each new daily thread after they get up in the morning.

    Morning everyone

Hugs to those that want/need one x

Happy birthday to those with a birthday x

Now light, cloudy and a bit misty, so hoping this means the sun will break out at some point, yesterday was lovely once the sun got out. I have washing to put out on the line, I'll do that shortly.

DH up and gone to work stupid early, DS1 now getting ready for work and DS2 still in his pit, will wake him shortly.

Dinner last night was stew and dumplings, mash, carrots, leeks and peas. Tonight will be chicken goujons, chips/jacket potato, beans/veg.

Work yesterday was another manic day, so busy, loads of customers moaning because they have to wait to be seen etc, also they're not happy with paperwork, how much they have to pay etc. Was a tough day yesterday and we're expecting more of the same today. I'm pleased I'm not working this Saturday!

    Keep safe and well x

Started to sneeze and cough this morning so decided to have a lie in which would have been fine except neighbour knocked on the door to introduce his gardener. I was in my dressing gown

I invited the female gardener in and discussed what needed doing and she will make a start on Friday morning so that is something sorted out.

Middle dd was going to be arriving back from South America tonight and staying over but the blizzard over there has cancelled flights so it looks as if she will be here tomorrow around tea time. Have just ordered a Sainsbug's online shop to arrive tomorrow afternoon so the fridge will be full.

Can't be bothered to do much today so will have to get into gear tomorrow instead and clear, hoover and mop.

    Hugs to all

The flat is in Airdrie. Should I decide not to go for this one for whatever reason, then I'll explore Glasgow city centre. Trying to remain hopefully for the time being.

It turned into Plan C this morning! It was so miserable, murky and windy we called Hebden Bridge off! It can be cold down there in summer so expected it to be a bit miserable today. So a repeat of last week and got the bus to Otley instead! By the time we got there the sky was blue and the sun was shining, though the sneaky wind was still blowing. Picked up a few bargains on the little market, including a big bag of red peppers for 1 and a tub of red grapes for 1. Mr TA got some much needed slippers from the Factory Shop and that was about it! Backtracked to Ilkley for a late lunch and a quick browse in the cs there.

We are both feeling rather weary now so I think an early night will be on the cards tonight. xx
