As suggested by Wig (thank you!) here's the best way to contact the Forum Team.

We regularly check the Site Feedback board and do our best to reply where we can (we have a team rota) but sometimes staff are off sick, we have an urgent issue come up e.g., a defamation complaint, all of which unfortunately can take our time up on something else.

If that happens and you feel we haven't seen something urgent here's how you can get in touch with us:

Report an issue to us the usual way by clicking on the report button in the post.

Feel free to post the issue on the Site Feedback board then click the report button on your post to let us know. Your query will then go into our Zendesk queue and be picked up quickly. Many forum users already do this to let us know about an issue. Make sure you explain why you're reporting your own post

You can also PM all of us with the links to threads too.

If you've done the above we will be aware. If you still don't think we are, though, you can private message us. As

MSE STOP SEARCING my credit history!
    Hi MSE,
I am getting 'security alerts' from equifax to say that Money Saving Expert (inc "Money Saving Expert Credit Cards") are requesting searches upon my files.
These are BEING RECORDED as Credit Searches against me.
I DO NOT CONSENT TOO THIS, and would like MSE to desist and DELETE ALL MY DATA immediately.
How do I request this ?
    thank you,

    Hi lovingthemoney

It sounds as though you've used either our Credit Club or Eligibility tools.

These searches are !!!8216;soft searches!!!8217; and are only visible by the yourself, they don't affect your credit score and lenders can't view this.

If you want to leave credit club can you please email creditclub@moneysavingexpert.com and the team can look after this for you.

Alternatively if you're certain you haven't used either, it is worth contacting one of the credit reference agencies to start a 'Victims of Fraud' review. I've included a link below to Experian's who power the data behind our Credit Club and Eligibility tools.

    https://www.experian.com/blogs/ask-experian/credit-education/preventing-fraud/victim-assistance/

    I hope this is helpful.

    Hello,

It's saying that the site's connection isn't secure. Not sure if it's just me but may be a good idea for that to be looked at, seeing as we're logging on with passwords etc..?

    Thanks.

It really is down to us to make this choice and enforce it ourselves.

My choice is to use a browser add-on HTTPS Everywhere.
