Is the Switch version superior to that for the Wii U though ?

And as Zelda is the last game to be released for it I would say its not worth buying one now.

Bought a Nintendo Switch last night. Got Mario Cart and Zelda. Downloaded Snipperclips too.

Pro Controller on order, and two of the steering wheel things, plus a glass screen protector.

    Very impressed so far.

Also, in reality even with just a five year lifespan - and these will have more than that - you're looking at 50 a year depreciation which is less than 1 a week.

Just simply don't have the money upfront to buy it, then there's the game cost.

So far it hasn't shown me anything that makes me want one. I really feel Nintendo had the chance to make up for past mistakes, but it feels like they're making all the same ones again.

After being indecisive earlier in this thread I got one with Mario Kart and Zelda from the girlfriend for my birthday and it's awesome. Dead happy. Got a PS4 Pro too and it offers an entirely different and unique experience from Sony and MS's offerings. Loving it.

I purchased one last week along with mk8 and Zelda BOTW. Managed to get all three for 320. It has changed the way I play games. With my xb1 PS4 I need to dedicate time to it and have to skulk away to another room on my own. With the switch I can play whilst the oh is watching rubbish on the TV, take it to work and have mario kart races with colleagues. I've not even powered up the other two for a month yet I have played almost every day on my switch cos I can just grab a sneaky few mins here and there.

I can play for 10 minutes up to when the battery dies and it powers on instantly and it always picks up where I popped it into sleep mode.

This is my first handheld since my game boy colour and I'm loving it.
