I e-mailed them and asked if I would be eligible, as the deals are for new customers only and as I left Sky less than 12 months ago I wasn't sure whether I'd be classed as a new customer.

They have replied saying they can "certainly make me eligible" for the offer. Not quite sure what that means! Though I hear they carry out the communal Sky Q installations for flats, so it may mean I would be able to sort out a way of getting the system upgraded to allow Sky Q, as at the moment I can only have Sky+HD on a single feed.

I'm an existing customer of 5 years and currently pay £58 for Broadband Unlimited, Line Rental, Call package (which I've been meaning to cancel forever) and Entertainment.

I've been offered Fibre Unlimited and Line Rental for £25 on an 18m contract and the Entertainment package for £15 again for 18m with a one off admin fee of £10.

Does this seem reasonable or do you think it would be worth seeing if they'd bring the fibre cost down?

I was also thinking of asking them to throw in Kids and Box Sets with the Entertainment but not sure if this would be pushing my luck?

    Grateful for any advice...
    Thanks

My husband negotiated our monthly bill down to "only" £94 yesterday. I'm not sure whether to be happy or appalled!

He's been a customer for about 13 years and I think the package is everything other than Sky Cinema (it includes Sky Q multi-room, fibre broadband, landline, all Sky Sports, Sky Boxsets and the full range of standard TV channels).

Hello All, after my last deal finished ( Entertainment, Sports and Boxsets @ £17.50ish a month , I think it was an 80% off deal) I cancelled.
Best I could get after was Entertainment, Boxsets(£1) and HD(£1) for £17 pm.
Good luck to anyone else trying to get a better deal at the moment.

A good ball park figure for all Sports channels is £15 but good luck with getting anywhere near that at the moment.

Let us know how you get on.

Currently getting Entertainment, Sky Sports and Broadband for £60/month
Ideally I want to add Sky Cinema while either maintaining or reducing the price.

I'm at the end of my first week since having a long webchat conversation about reducing my bill and subsequently cancelling. Since then I've been called 3 or 4 times, I've only had the opportunity to talk to them once, but they were offering packages that are actually more expensive than what I'm on now, and then started mindlessly trying to sell their mobile phone contract on top of it.

Nothing appearing in My Sky or Interactive just yet either.

Essentially they're maintaining that the current deal I'm on cannot possibly get any better. Hoping that's not true!

    Hi All,

Just been on the phone to retentionís when I threatened to give notice and was offered entertainment pack, sports pack and box sets for £32 on sky +HD on an 18 month contract. Seems like a good deal to me but keen to know peoples thoughts before I say yes

Seems relatively good to me. Although I think (and hope for the sake of my negotiations!) they've got more in the tank.

Also I'm having trouble now getting on the webchat. Since cancelling I've gone back to try and chat through there but it asks me to call them instead.

Is there a way to get through on the web chat? The below is what I'm getting:

"We can see that you have already requested to cancel your Sky TV services. If you'd like to change the date of your cancellation or discuss your options, please contact one of our Sky experts on 03300 412 503."

You could try https://contactus.sky.com/uk/sky-tv/cancel-sky-tv using a different browser to your usual as they leave cookies that stop you seeing new customer offers at least. You still need to sign in at that point however so they may still try and get you to call instead.
