    I choose Xs direct compolsary 3000. I involve an accident that was not my fault but Xs direct make false investigation . Was very minor accident may be repair by 120/150 just little bit mark very minor . Then Xs direct send me a letter you have to pay 1453.79 then i complain that was not my fault then they send same letter after two month I have pay now 1553.79.coz they add investigation charge . I never see any bad insurance company like Xs direct . If you choose excess 3000 they all accident happen they will make you to pay either your fouls or not . I suggest everyone don't go with Xs direct

    Another problem that can occur is XS Direct is usually taken out through an insurance broker, some insurance brokers really don't emphasise what the "all sections excess" actually is and when I listened back to my phone call I couldn't believe how he just "flowed" straight through that bit like it was nothing saying "carries an all sections excess and breakdown cover etc etc"

    My situation is I'm classed as "high risk" due to having a car stolen, at the same time I also had to make another claim as my other car keys where taken and I was also involved in a fraudulent claim which the third party dropped the court case with no explanation and because the insurance company couldn't recoup the costs for getting the fraud team involved it actually went down as a fault claim.. no surprise I'm also facing 3000 all sections excesses.

    my advice for others who are in the same boat as me is to look at specialists insurance brokers dealing with high claims, I was offered a premium which also had a seporate "excess protection" covering the entire 3000 should a fault claim ever arise. It's a lifeline to getting your no claims back and get rid of the ridiculous excesses.
