Is it somewhere in that 'quick links '
    Top R/H/S

Not sure that's how you do it though

    Thanks Andrea
I clicked on the profile link and it does show me how many unread posts there are in a thread I am following, but how do I jump straight to them?
When I click on the thread, it just takes me to the front page not my last read post.
Also this is just for threads I have subscribed to - I used to be able to jump to last read post even if I hadn;t subscribed to the thread.

    More help needed please

    Thanks

Did this get sorted? I've been having the same problem for months with the new layout and still not sure how to go straight to the first unread post in a thread. In other forums in the list of threads there is an icon on the left for you to go straight to the first unread post for each thread...

As far as I remember things, it was a feature that somehow got left out of the new (blue) layout. (It is still in the old green layout.)

It was reported to the PTB (powers that be) at MSE early on (before they went 'live' with the new layout I think) and a standard sort of response (along the lines that it would be looked at) was given.

I guess they are still looking.

I would think this is one of the many reasons why many of the longer-term users are still sticking with the green version.

Think I am going to go back to the old version so I get that feature again, which is a shame as I actually prefer the layout of the new.

Sorry to bump this but has this been resolved. It's a bit annoying going to the first post each time then skipping to the end then reading back to where you last got to.

Sorry if it's obvious but as a newb I can't figure it out.

All the other forums I use have these so I assume they were removed from MSE for a reason but it's quite irritating.
