New Ratesetter £50 referral offer - October only! 6th Oct 15 at 5:07 PM
£85 for joining and lending £500.

RateSetter are doing an October promotion - "Introduce a friend and both earn £50 when they invest £500". I'm happy to give you £35 of my side - giving you £85 (or 17%) just for joining and lending £500. It makes it a good time to try them!

Let me know if you have any questions about RateSetter or the offer.

My signup link is here: http://link.ratesetter.com/svyummI

    Here are the T&Cs:

Refer a Friend - Terms and Conditions
    • To be eligible for this offer you must use the code or links provided to refer a new investor (‘Referred Investor’) to RateSetter. The Referred Investor cannot be an existing RateSetter customer and you cannot refer yourself (for example, by using another e-mail address or false details).
    • The Referred Investor must have a minimum of £500 matched on the market and on loan before 5:30 pm on the closing date of 31st October 2015 for the referral to be valid. Confirmation of a valid referral will be emailed to you once the Referred Investor’s money has been matched.
    • For each valid referral you make, you and the Referred Investor will, within 15 working days, receive £50 which will automatically be invested in the monthly market at the current rate. The £50 is not transferrable and no alternatives will be offered.
    • This offer is for your personal use only, referrals cannot be made through a third party or by using any type of automated script or device. The Referred Investor should be someone with whom you have an existing relationship, such as a friend or family member. You must not send a referral to anyone you don’t know or who you think wouldn’t want to receive this type of offer.

If you'd like to take advantage of the new offer, I'm happy to give you £20 of the £50 I would receive. So, you would get a total of £120 for investing £5000 or more for a year. I can pay by PayPal, bank transfer or Amazon vouchers.

If you'd rather donate it to charity, I'll up that to £40 of the £50 I would receive (i.e. you get £100, charity get £40, I get £10).

    Hi everyone

Just wanted to share my Ratesetter referral link in case anyone is planning to join. I've been using it for several years from 3 year fixes to rolling monthly investments. I really like that is has a provision fund as it offers that extra reassurance against loss.

If you sign-up via my link below when setting up a new account, you'll get a £100 boost when you invest £5,000 with RateSetter for a year.

Ratesetter have updated their offer: now you get an extra £100 for investing £1000 for a year. If you pop your £1k onto the rolling or 1 yr market you should get roughly 3.0% meaning that this investment should net you a whopping 13% return! This offer ends on 25th July 2018. Please use my link if you find this info useful.

I have just PMd you too as I have just deposited £1000 into their IF ISA on the 1 year market using your link.

Is there any way to stop the bonus in the Everyday Account from investing in the Rolling Market? I would just want to withdraw this bit immediately which seems to be allowed under the rules?

I have only recently joined ratesetter and my investment is a different one (£10 a month because I needed direct debits to service my current accounts). So I don't know the answer to your question.

Perhaps another forumite may, or ratesetter will answer the query you pose to them.

you should be able to withdraw your money via this link - Money Out.

Regarding reinvestment - yes there is a way. Under "Reinvestments" members.ratesetter.com/your_lending/reinvestment/reinvestment_settings.aspx you can choose how you wanted to reinvest - on which rate - and capital only or with the interest - in which market or keep it just in the Holding Account

Is there a forum/thread anywhere on here to discuss the pros and cons of the different P2P lending sites? I have a Funding Circle account which is currently earning me 8.1%. I was surprised to see the 1 year fix so low on Ratesetter but the £100 introductory offer has piqued my interest.
