What time do you shop? you might find it quieter as some people might stay in to watch the match... 5:15pm it is between Manchester United and Chelsea.

I shall maybe cook some food at around 5:15ish then, as I am not a fan of either. Its hard to decide who I want to lose more ... got to be Man U, but I still can't bring myself to cheer Chelsea either.

Its not going to get in the way and make the traffic busy when I go to Morrisons is it?

I hope that the current Sleazy Stress period is over for a bit, so hope to get back on track soon with the healthier lifestyle though .

Stress really is a 'killer'. I felt like I was going to die from tiredness after not sleeping for a few nights, then went to bed yesterday before 9pm and did sleep until 4, then slept again. I slept a couple or more hours again this afternoon - I'm still tired and feel that 9pm can't come soon enough ...

World Aids Vaccine Day May 18 2018

As we all know, AIDS and HIV is an ever present health issue in
our society. As yet there is still no known vaccine that can be used
to stem the flow of this deadly infection. To raise awareness of the
continued need for a vaccine there is a day set aside every year
that is known as HIV Vaccine Awareness Day, or World Aids Day. It
is held every year on May 18. As well as raising awareness of the
need for a vaccine it also celebrates those that work towards this
goal. All those who help victims of the infection also receive praise
    on this poignant day.

In 1997, during a speech made at Morgan State University,
president of the day Bill Clinton asked for experts and scientists
around the world to work towards creating a vaccine for AIDS. He
said that this would be the only way to limit its spread and
    eventually wipe it out.

What Happens on World Aids Vaccine Day?

World Aids Vaccine Day takes place on May 18th. The first was
observed on May 18 in 1998. One year exactly after Clinton’s
speech. Every year since then the commemoration has take place.
Activities are organised around the globe.

The aim of the activities is to raise awareness of the need for AIDS
vaccines and to educate people about how HIV can be prevented.
Ordinary people are reminded that they can also play a part in
    ending the pandemic.

Spinal Cord Injury Awareness Day 2018 is held on May 18th. This
annual awareness event is arranged by the Spinal Injuries
Association in conjunction with other charities. The day aims to
raise the profile of spinal injuries and increase awareness and
understanding of spinal cord injuries and their impact, effect and
    treatment.

The spinal cord runs from the brain down to the pelvis. It carries
messages from the brain to the rest of the body, affecting walking,
breathing, movement, blood pressure and control of the bowels
and bladder. Injuries to the spinal cord can affect these functions,
sometimes seriously, leading to loss of movement and control
    control of bodily functions.

The spinal cord can be damaged through trauma as a result of
accidents, or as a result of illness and infection. The impact of the
damage depends on where the spinal cord is injured, for example
if the injury is in the cervical or thoracic (upper spine) loss of the
use of arms and legs can occur and breathing may be affected,
while lower spinal cord injuries may affect use of the legs and
control of the stomach, bladder and bowels. Each injury and its
effects can be unique to the sufferer and depends on the cause,
circumstances and how quickly the injury is treated.

The awareness day helps people to understand why and how
spinal cord injuries affect people, and what treatment and care is
available and needed. Spinal injuries continue to be researched for
treatment and cure, and in some cases it is possible to recover the
use of the limbs and regain some activities, it depends on the
injury, but usually it is a lifelong injury. The awareness day
provides information for sufferers, carers, health professionals and
the general public on all of this.

Hats for Headway Day takes place during Action for Brain Injury
Week on Friday 18 May 2018 and is a simple, fun, and easy way to
raise money for brain injury survivors around the UK.

Every year, we ask our members to wear a wacky hat, donate £1
to Headway and post a picture on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram
    using the hashtag #HatsForHeadway.

We were overwhelmed by the response last year, with hundreds of
weird and wonderful hat photos shared on social media, and vital
funds raised for Headway - the brain injury association and our
groups and branches across the UK. Let's make this year's event
    the best ever!

Wear your hat for a chance to win

Don't forget to share your fantastic hat (or crown!) photos on
Facebook, Twitter or Instagram using the #HatsForHeadway
hashtag to be in with a chance of winning afternoon tea for two at
the world-famous Dorchester Hotel in London, courtesy of
    Conference Care!

The closing date for entries is Friday 25th May 2018. You can also
submit your entry via our online form.

    Hats for Harry Day!

Planning your Hats for Headway Day event? Why not give it a royal
twist to celebrate the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle
which takes place the following day?

We've put together a poster to use if you fancy giving the day a
royal theme! Download now from the related resources section,
and don't forget to share your photos on social media as described
    above.

Shades Day – Friday 18 May – is our national fundraising and
awareness day when we encourage everyone to wear a pair of
    shades, whatever the weather!

It is the closest Friday to the UN’s International Day of the Family,
and the day we recognise that thousands of struggling UK families
never enjoy even the simplest break away from home.

Get your friends, family and colleagues together and encourage
everyone to dig out a pair of shades and make a donation. And
don’t forget to share your snaps with us on social media using the
    hashtag #ShadesDay.

    International Museum Day 2018

The worldwide community of museums will celebrate International
Museum Day on and around 18 May 2018.

The theme chosen for 2018 is "Hyperconnected museums: New
    approaches, new publics".

The objective of International Museum Day is to raise awareness of
the fact that, “Museums are an important means of cultural
exchange, enrichment of cultures and development of mutual
understanding, cooperation and peace among peoples.” Organised
on and around 18 May each year, the events and activities planned
to celebrate International Museum Day can last a day, a weekend
    or a whole week.

Participation in International Museum Day is growing among
museums all over the world. In 2017, more than 36,000 museums
participated in the event in some 157 countries.

Didn't go out for the day today, weather looks good for tomorrow though, will plan later.

I'm not interested in 'The Wedding' although they seem a nice couple and Meghan seems to have brought out a pleasant side of Harry
I guess that they're both 'lucky' in different ways and I wish them all the best ....
