    Ate the crisps - All 150g / 750 calories.

Been in bed all day and waiting to sleep tonight.
Don't you just hate these bugs?

My immune system is down anyway from auto-immune issues, maybe I should try euthenasia Echinacea.

Nutritionalist calling tomorrow for last appointment, all I can tell her is that for a few days been unable to walk much, but have managed to sacrifice myself by eating crisps and drinking wine.

We have some fresh grapes in the fridge as suggested by Inde. I know that Mrs, S will bring drink home for herself and probably me too as I'm not well. Hopefully she won't bring more crisps though.

If she brings me wine, will I drink it?
That is the question my dear Sleazy.

I was just trying to think when I last had a crisp. I gave them up for February, but can't remember if I had any in March.
I don't think I did, but won't swear to it.
I know I looked at them a few times in the supermarket, but just didn't fancy any.

I did have a maple pecan croissants thing from Sainsbury's yesterday, though.

Well Ive got to be even better then saintly between now and September

Im going to a very very posh hotel for a very very posh wedding

Now Im a jeans and tee shirt girl, it killed me getting a frock for daughters wedding two years back and I was dreading going shopping for this one

Today I walked into a charity shop for a browse and found the most perfect dress. Suits me to the ground, a posh make, looks like worn once, for the princely sum of £12 ( £160 online)

trouble is I cant breathe in it

But for £12 I wasn't going to let it pass, so I snapped it up and now thats it - Im on dust from now until then
if you lend someone £20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it

Well, Mrs S did bring me wine, but I won't be having quite the whole bottle - she's had a glass with the beef burger things that I grilled for her. I had a small cheese pizza via the microwave, with boiled potatoes and some red peppers. Now I do have a glass of wine , but no more crisps!

After being like a zombie all day, I do feel a bit better now. Gardening tomorrow though? I think that I'll try to mow the lawn at least - our green bin recycling is on Thursday.

    Good morning lovely Alphabettys

I hope you're all in fine fettle on this traditional and
    thoughtful day!

    Wirksworth Great Barmote Court

Where: Wirksworth, Derbyshire at the Moot Hall on Chapel Street
    When: 3rd Wednesday in April
    Time: 12 noon

Wirksworth in Derbyshire is the setting for the last remaining
Great Barmote Court; these courts were set up in the twelfth
century to regulate the lead-mining industry and the survivor may
well be the oldest industrial court in the UK.

Nowadays the jurisdiction of the court is more limited than in its
heyday, but still regulations are upheld and fees collected.

The official Barmaster and Steward are assisted by twelve jurors.

Attendees are provided with bread & cheese and beer as well as
clay pipes and tobacco, before the proceedings get underway.

Though it is essentially a private court, the public are welcome to
    view proceedings.

Plaques from the Old Moot Hall, showing Miner's tools of scales,
    pick and trough.

    Helpful Hints

It’s usually held on the third Wednesday in April but occasionally it
varies to another Wednesday in the month. In 2018 it will be on
    Wednesday April 18th.

We are campaigning for a farming system that works in harmony
with nature – join us as a Wildlife Warrior and get UK wildlife back
    on its tiny feet.

    Calling all Wildlife Warriors!

Our wildlife is in serious trouble. Do you see as many butterflies
today as you did when you were a child? And have you noticed
that the dawn chorus doesn’t sing as loudly as it once did?

Pesticides are a big part of the problem. They are having a
devastating impact on pollinator numbers and with less insects to
go around, birds and animals are suffering too.

We’re calling all Wildlife Warriors to come together and help UK
wildlife get back on its tiny feet.

    Join now!

Right now, the UK government is working on the first new
Agriculture Bill in 70 years. This is a once-in-a-generation
opportunity to make sure that wildlife-friendly farming is centre
stage. But we need to pile on the pressure - there’s a serious risk
that new laws around pesticides will be too weak to make a real
    difference to our wildlife.

Will you help save our wildlife?

By joining the Soil Association and becoming a Wildlife Warrior,
you’ll campaign for farming that nurtures wildlife. At this crucial
time, you’ll help influence decisions-makers in government,
ensuring that new pesticide laws go the distance for our beloved
wildlife. Together, we can protect the millions of bees, butterflies,
birds and animals at risk of disappearing from our fields and
    hedgerows forever.

It costs from just £3.50 per month to become a Wildlife Warrior.
We’ll send you regular updates on the difference you’re making,
plus invitations to events and access to organic offers and
discounts. We do hope you’ll join us.

    Become a Wildlife Warrior today

is indeed what I am doing now! Not sure about the little heart though

Feeling a lot better today and realised that the recycling bins are emptied next week and not tomorrow ... nevertheless I shall still endeavour to wheel out the lawnmower for the first time this year

Apart from that, have decided to stay in again today. Tomorrow apparently should be the warmest day so may go out somewhere.

The forum seems to be running very slow today btw

Did you miss all the ribbing while you were away, Coley?

We've been storing it all up!

Well, I had to go to the optician's this morning, so I treated myself to a veggie breakfast in this nice caf!!!279; near to it. Had one there before and they are piping hot! So many breakfasts are luke-warm.

Then I popped into a couple of Charity shops, and for the princely sum of £20, I got 4 summer tops for my holiday, a pretty blue necklace and a bag of liquorice!

Not quite the bargain Suki got, as they are just all day wear things, but nice enough!

Then I did a scary thing I've been putting off doing for a while, and it turned out not to be scary after all, (which, of course, reason told me it wouldn't have been, but that's my brain for you! )
