    So many times I see strange/weird stuff on Facebook and I think "I'm sure the people on MSE would love this".

    I know a lot of you, in fact, most of you have FB accounts but for those who don't.......

    This turtle is actually very endangered. It is found in only one place.... the Mary River in Queensland, Australia.

    The 'hair' actually consists of vertical strands of green algae that grow on its head and body.
