So I!!!8217;ve managed to curb spending again now. I!!!8217;m getting back to being thrifty again! I!!!8217;ve sorted a lot of boring buys and they are out of the way. Seriously funny items that I!!!8217;ve been avoiding buying, oven gloves, tin opener, wood paint, sandpaper, corn on the cob spike things and tea towels!

Got all that on Sunday and Monday/Tuesday have been low spend days!

First 1k sent towards a pension rather than mortgage! This is gonna slow me up in my mortgage free dream. The plan is to run in parallel and do a bit of a balancing act!

Will be taking a dividend before the end of the tax year - this is my mortgage balance for now £195 698. Creeping down gradually!!!! Slowly but surely!!!

I!!!8217;m off work with the singles now- horrendous- that will hit the bank account but that!!!8217;s the risk of contracting- more important to get better for now and I!!!8217;ll just hope for an extension in June.

Fighting to get fit again! Nearly there but wfh this week. Mortgage balance updated and I have taken dividend from the business. I am hoping to hit the MF by 50 target this year but I will need to see if my contract gets extended in June. So far from keeping my ear to the ground it sounds like an extension is unlikely. See what happens closer to the time!

Ive decided I will def make my MF by 50 target this year. I am going to transfer funds from my savings offset to ensure I am on track. Still hoping for extension at end of June and if I get one I am gonna seriously smash my mortgage because I got a lot of big expenses out of the way now!

Lets hope you are lucky enough to get extension.

Seems quite a few going for it this year, myself included, hard slog and into our 4th month already this year - a third of the way through.

    Good Luck.
