    Three choices in life; Give up, Give in or Give all you've got!! 6th Nov 14 at 4:53 PM
    This is my 2nd diary on MSE. My first diary, "When I asked for luck I didn't mean the bad variety!!" has to be closed as it's reached over 5000 posts!! It can be found here;

    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.php?t=3911061

    In 2011 my Husband had a motorcycle accident resulting in a severe brain injury, memory problems and Epilepsy. Unfortunately he is getting worse not better and I am now his full time Carer, which can be challenging, but I'm ever grateful he is still here! I also have 2 boys aged 10 and almost 5, a part time job and I'm currently a Beaver Leader but I've just given notice to leave at Christmas (as much as it pains me!) as I just can't manage that too. The last 3.5 years have been hard going for lots of reasons, but worth it. Every day may not be good, but there's something good in every day!!

    At the time of the accident we owed over £23,700 on credit cards and we currently owe just over £3000. Hopefully this diary will see us getting debt free forever! I hope you'll join me.

    Lucky Xx

    I hope you feel a bit better soon about losing your cat, it's sad losing a pet.

    I'm sure DH will be fine having his tooth out. DS2 needed some milk teeth out years ago because his mouth was crowded and had to have a general anaesthaetic because he was too much of a wriggler to have a local. I was worried but he was fine .

I think it will be better that he’s knocked out to have it done. He had an operation on his eye at 6 months so I know it will be harder for me waiting while it’s done than him having it done, but I’d rather that.

    Hi lucky hope you are all ok - just sending love xx

    My boys were chosen to take part in a photo shoot at a clip and climb centre yesterday. They didn’t get paid, but they got to climb for free, which we were all happy with. It was nice to see them being active, particularly DS1 who used to be a good little climber but now spends more time online than anything else . We probably won’t be doing much this weekend as the weather is pants and we are skint, so at least they’ve done something .

    Climbing sounds fun! The weather is awful isn't it. Doesn't really make going out fun.

    Hope you're okay

    Bumped into my Mum, Grandma and Auntie today when I’d nipped out for milk etc. Lovely to see them. Mum gave me some cash and said I have to buy some new clothes as I always look a mess. Not sure whether to be chuffed at prospect of new clothes or cry that I always look a mess .

    Haven’t been anywhere else today. Had a house full of kids earlier as DS2 and his pals chose my house to play in. Fed them all pizza for lunch.

    Have washed the designer handbag in the washing machine. Will see how it dries. I haven’t lost anything if it doesn’t work out as it was destined for the bin anyway. This way, if it is salvageable I may get a few pounds still on eBay.

    Your mum was maybe just as not as tactful as she could have been.
    It is like my mum who loathes the fact I wear jeans 99% of the time!
