    This is my 2nd diary on MSE. My first diary, "When I asked for luck I didn't mean the bad variety!!" has to be closed as it's reached over 5000 posts!! It can be found here;

In 2011 my Husband had a motorcycle accident resulting in a severe brain injury, memory problems and Epilepsy. Unfortunately he is getting worse not better and I am now his full time Carer, which can be challenging, but I'm ever grateful he is still here! I also have 2 boys aged 10 and almost 5, a part time job and I'm currently a Beaver Leader but I've just given notice to leave at Christmas (as much as it pains me!) as I just can't manage that too. The last 3.5 years have been hard going for lots of reasons, but worth it. Every day may not be good, but there's something good in every day!!

At the time of the accident we owed over £23,700 on credit cards and we currently owe just over £3000. Hopefully this diary will see us getting debt free forever! I hope you'll join me.

    Lucky Xx

Not sure penny. Might give it to my friend if I canít use it.

Both boys have had their hair cuts. DS2 loves his, DS1 hates his . He says he isnít starting his new high school in September if it hasnít grown to how he wants it . Guess heís a proper teen now.

Weather has been glorious here today which has helped get 4 loads of washing dried. Itís been like a laundrette!! Almost ready to put it all in cases for tomorrow.

SiL is still in hospital . They have been treating her with IV antibiotics for a week now. He appendix has perforated but hasnít leaked into her other organs, and they are desperately trying to avoid an operation due to her heart condition. My poor sister has been sleeping in a chair beside her for a week now .

Oh dear to DS1's hair PLMBL! He's got 4 weeks for it to grow back before high school.

Poor SIL, hope she's ok. Your poor sister must be so stiff from sleeping in a chair for a week poor things.

    Enjoy your break away xx

Sorry to hear SIL is still poorly, hope she picks up soon, what a worrying time.

Made me smile about DS's hair - been there, done that, etc with my two. It will have grown by September though - but could just imagine you ringing the school to say he won't be starting because he doesn't like his hair!

Hope you have a lovely break in Yorkshire xx

    Well hellooooo!

Back from our week away. Overall it was great, weather was amazing and we had some lovely day trips. A few niggles from being in such close proximity with MiL 24/7, but DH was quite good for most of the time. Heís been off since we got home this afternoon though. He offered to hang the clothes on the airer as it started raining, and when I looked heíd used pegs - on the airer indoor.

SiL got home from hospital on Thursday - 2 weeks after being admitted. Fingers crossed sheís truly on the mend - donít think my Sis could sleep on that chair again after 14 nights straight .

Money wise we are just scraping by. Starting to panic about paying for the rest of the school uniform, my party (really wish I hadnít booked this now ), DS1ís Birthday and then dare I mention it - Christmas .

Glad you had a great time. You were in York at the same time one of my work friends was, it was weird seeing you both putting similar pics on FB on the same day.

    Fingers crossed for SIL.

Re the money, try not to worry too much, I'm sure it will work out... always does . Is DS starting at high school this time? My DD's blazer and PE kit was £85 with 10% off . So expensive.

Yes Mummy, heís starting High School. Iíve already got the logoíd polo shirts, jumpers, coat (!!) and apron, but I still need the trousers and PE/Games Kit . Iíve spent over £100 already and I think thereís about the same again to spend.

Iíve ordered 100 paper sweetie bags for my party from Am@zon, using the £1 voucher I won, so it only cost 75p . Iíve given up on a grand idea of getting my hair done Ďproperlyí before my party, and Iíve bought a home hair dye for £6.50. Will just get the usual wet cut in the next few weeks when I can afford it.

Have listed some things on eBay, with more to do later. Need to drum up some pennies asap. Iím £6 from £50 payout on Populus and half way on YouGov. Trying to concentrate on those, along with Swagbucks for Amazon vouchers.

£8 in Mr T vouchers arrived, so used those to get some bits of shopping to help see us through. Also went to Costc0 with my Sister to scope out what they sell ahead of doing the buffet for my party. Hated walking round seeing the bargains knowing I had NO money, but loved seeing my Sister as itís been quite a while.

Didnít sleep very well last night worrying about money .

Would your family club together for the party - instead of presents maybe?

When my old hairdressers closed and I had to find a new one, I took the opportunity to start colouring my hair at home. Can't see the difference to be honest and it only costs me £5.

Sorry to hear money worries are giving you sleepless nights. I remember that feeling only too well from when my two were at school, it was a real struggle

Such an up and down day!!

Couldnít sleep last night again, and discovered in the early hours that my bank account had gone 6p overdrawn . Text my sister asking if she would transfer a couple of quid in for me to save me a trip to the bank and Iíd pay her back on Friday. Checked my account this morning and she's paid £50 in with instructions to keep it .

Then Grandma had a funny turn in hospital and was transferred to Coronary care . They put her on morphine as her BP super low and we are waiting to hear from the doctor but she looks better tonight .

Iím tired and feeling quite emotional. Pleased to have such a lovely family, but hoping everyone is going to be ok Xx
