    This is my 2nd diary on MSE. My first diary, "When I asked for luck I didn't mean the bad variety!!" has to be closed as it's reached over 5000 posts!! It can be found here;

    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.php?t=3911061

In 2011 my Husband had a motorcycle accident resulting in a severe brain injury, memory problems and Epilepsy. Unfortunately he is getting worse not better and I am now his full time Carer, which can be challenging, but I'm ever grateful he is still here! I also have 2 boys aged 10 and almost 5, a part time job and I'm currently a Beaver Leader but I've just given notice to leave at Christmas (as much as it pains me!) as I just can't manage that too. The last 3.5 years have been hard going for lots of reasons, but worth it. Every day may not be good, but there's something good in every day!!

At the time of the accident we owed over £23,700 on credit cards and we currently owe just over £3000. Hopefully this diary will see us getting debt free forever! I hope you'll join me.

    Lucky Xx

Small eBay profit and a bank balance tidy up, means Florida pot now stands at £19.93. I’ve just cashed out £10 PayPal from a survey site too, so will add that when it arrives.

Lost 2lbs at chub club .

MiL has decided not to come to Florida afterall, after getting me to find out if she was able to (she was). Have contacted the girl organising it all AGAIN to say it’s just the 4 of us once more, so hopefully it will be booked soon. Think we are looking at going sometime in May.

    Today has been NSD#2 .

Absolutely horrendous rain here all night long, so everywhere was a mud bath today. Took the dog to the beach (to avoid the swamp) which he adored, and it certainly blew the cobwebs away!

DH is getting on my nerves but to be honest I’m not sure if it’s him or me. Could be my hormones!

Our dog got covered in mud, everywhere is sodden. Beanie I find the beach hard to walk on since I broke my ankle but it's getting better thankfully.

They are so similar SA. DH was asking me earlier if he had any Christmas money left. That’ll be the money he spent all on himself while I used mine to pay the bills . He’s like Mr SA for always moving on to the next thing .

Beanie, it’s certainly hard work walking on sand.

Hairy, it was freezing on the beach! DS2 said he thought we’d gone to Antarctica!!

Boys went back to school today - not gonna lie, I enjoyed the peace! They have done nothing but bicker the last few days.

Currently at £49 with P0pulus, only £1 more until they send a cheque which *should* be doable well before the end of the month pay date.

DH has literally just had a partial seizure. He kept saying “sorry for laughing” but he wasn’t laughing?? It looked from the outside like a ‘normal’ partial seizure, but it obviously felt different internally Xx

Thanks all. He seems ok this morning and can only remember ‘feeling weird’ last night.

Planning a quiet day of housework, eBay listing and comping today. Hopefully it will be a NSD.

Glad MrL is ok today, Lucky. As ever his episodes appear harder on you..
Afraid I can't remember; was there a good reason for MrL not to be able to try CBD oil for seizure control?

Not that I know of Robin. Something to look into.

Today has been the NSD I was hoping for . Only listed one thing on eBay though .

The company I won the Florida holiday through has sent a generic email to everyone on their mailing list announcing me as the winner . It seems more real now and puts my mind a little more at rest, as the girl booking it for us still hasn’t been back in touch. She did say it would take time, so I know it’s silly to worry, but I’m anxious to get it all confirmed.
