Baby steps to mortgage freedom for beanielou. 4th Nov 14 at 1:19 PM
My first thread on the MFW board!!
My mortgage has 6 & 1/2 years left to run.
My income seems to decrease more & more & it becomes more & and more of a challange to pay my hefty(to me) mortgage.
I have managed an overpayment last month as I got some £££'s unexpectedly.
My biggest fear is not being able to pay my mortgage & loosing my home.
So I have decided that baby steps are the way forward~even a fiver or a tenner overpaid in a month is better than nothing.

Dear Beanie, my sugar confessor... today I ate half a box of gf chocolate cookies, and an entire box of caramel sea salt fudge . (That last was not deliberate, it was due to forgetting a Skype meeting so didn't eat anything else before it started and so still haven't had tea yet!). Please absolve me or at least remind me about all my pretty summer clothes that I won't fit into if I keep doing this

Glad the physio helped a bit - how are you doing now?

    Out of sorts today.
A close relative said last night that they were 'dissapointed not your usual positive self'
Replied that it is hard sometimes to be positive when you are in pain & not the best at moving.

I wonder if said relative were to walk in your shoes how cheerful and positive they would stay........

Folk need to do as Thumpers mum said to Thumper in Bambi Ďif you canít say something nice - donít say nothing at allí - the world would be a nicer place if we all listened to that advice.

Beanie, what a horrendous thing to have said to you! I'm sorry that somebody dumped that on you, it says a lot more about them than it does about you.
