Baby steps to mortgage freedom for beanielou. 4th Nov 14 at 2:19 PM
My first thread on the MFW board!!
My mortgage has 6 & 1/2 years left to run.
My income seems to decrease more & more & it becomes more & and more of a challange to pay my hefty(to me) mortgage.
I have managed an overpayment last month as I got some 's unexpectedly.
My biggest fear is not being able to pay my mortgage & loosing my home.
So I have decided that baby steps are the way forward~even a fiver or a tenner overpaid in a month is better than nothing.

It's done now so try not to worry about it. How quickly can you pay off the loan?

What's the civic reception about ? Are you able to take a guest with you , who could perhaps drive .

As everyone has said what's done is done.

Hope you have been ok in the wind and rain today x

It certainly was very windy & very very wet.

Did manage to get to the library & pick up my books so that was good.
So if I dont get out over the weekend all will be well

No point in going then if you don't know anyone . A guest would at least been someone to speak to. Glad to hear you got to the library. I have put my plant pots near my door , we have canopies and bin sheds outside so at least they don't blow over.

Has been very windy here too - a tree blew over in the school grounds over the path the parents bring the kiddy winks - thankfully all the children were safely in school at the time and council cleared it before the end of the day. Dh boss had the windows blown out of his house -he is quite high on an exposed hill -again luckily no one was around to be hurt by the debris...

Stay safe and warm this weekend Benaie xx

I hate driving in the dark, particularly motorways around rush hour. My particular phobia is overly confident lorry drivers who drive up your !!!! because they're happy doing 60 mph on a slip road in the !!!!ing rain

So I have made my peace with my decision to move some of the loan to the 0% interest credit card.
So I now have the loan, one 0% credit card & the mortgage.

Did think about going back to DFW but will stay where I am
