Baby steps to mortgage freedom for beanielou. 4th Nov 14 at 2:19 PM
My first thread on the MFW board!!
My mortgage has 6 & 1/2 years left to run.
My income seems to decrease more & more & it becomes more & and more of a challange to pay my hefty(to me) mortgage.
I have managed an overpayment last month as I got some £££'s unexpectedly.
My biggest fear is not being able to pay my mortgage & loosing my home.
So I have decided that baby steps are the way forward~even a fiver or a tenner overpaid in a month is better than nothing.

They'll turn up in the most unexpected safe place Beanie, or in the bin - the first place I look as I'm notorious for tidying things away there
Sounds like your having a tough time at the moment - lots of memories rearing their ugly heads. Just hugs - don't stay away too long if you're having a diary break - lots of folk will miss you...and it's good to share don't ya know good stuff and the not so good are always better shared

Many years ago, Mr SA's dad accidentally burnt an envelope with £150 in it that we'd been saving towards a deposit on a house In the end we got the house by the way so all was well that ends well

Hope the vouchers have turned up xx

What a 'plonker' - feel free to substitute that word with whatever expletive you choose. There are so many more good and decent folk than bad but sometimes it's hard to remember that. what makes these folk tick - not a nice experience for you Beanie - hope you're ok.

Actually you have just reminded me of someone getting VERY angry with me because I would not move into a box junction. He was inviting me in yet the exit was not clear. Thought I was going to get beaten up on the basis of my knowledge of the highway code!!

Glasses are a rip off. My optician always tries to get me to have varifocals when I don't need them. I just tell them no. Work pays for my glasses for VDU use.

Like you say if you need them it is what it is.
