Baby steps to mortgage freedom for beanielou. 4th Nov 14 at 2:19 PM
My first thread on the MFW board!!
My mortgage has 6 & 1/2 years left to run.
My income seems to decrease more & more & it becomes more & and more of a challange to pay my hefty(to me) mortgage.
I have managed an overpayment last month as I got some £££'s unexpectedly.
My biggest fear is not being able to pay my mortgage & loosing my home.
So I have decided that baby steps are the way forward~even a fiver or a tenner overpaid in a month is better than nothing.

Sending hugs. Tough when things kinda side swipe you like that.

On the one hand I like to work out where the issues come from. On the other hand sometimes I like them buried!

Sorty to hear that Beanie .

I'm not sure experiences like that ever completely leave us, but we get better at dealing with them. They do sometimes rear their ugly heads and upset us all over again, but if you beat them once then you can beat them again Beanie.

Thinking of you and keep plodding x.

Those childhood hospital experiences must be tough to deal with Beanie - like you say they helped make you into the strong, independent lady you are today. But life is unfair and and nobody especially when children should have to go through 'stuff' - hope you manage to put those thoughts to the drawer in the back of your mind so you can enjoy raspberry gin and relaxing feline fun again soon

Don't beat yourself up about dropping the payment - you are still paying and the light is getting nearer the end of that tunnel.

I hope that you will be feeling more settled and less sad today, I hate it when something nudges the lid of the box that contains stuff from the past, I will remember Hairy's comment about having dealt with it before.......

Meant to say yesterday that it was the 30th anniversary of the Piper Alpha disaster.
Still remember with such clarity & sadness my BT colleagues who lost their lives that day.
    Such a waste.
