Need to get myself together: The beginning 16th Sep 14 at 1:38 PM
    Hi all

I am back. Short story, I was in this position before though holding a baby in my arms and his dad left us with a loan I got for him (I naively believed there was people after him) and such a bad overdraft. I managed to scrape it back and pay it all off and was on a high (figuratively) of being debt free.

Four years on I have been left (no baby this time) and foolishly beleived this guy was decent. No need to tell me off or should have known better, believe me I am my own worst enemy.

So now my debts are :

1,000 overdraft (hope to clear by Christmas or least by January)
200 odds Next (Yeah this is me I cannot blame anyone but myself here) I want it cleared by Christmas at least
5,000 loan ( I am mad I know for having got it for him and he "says"will help with this but will not hold my breath as he is already asking for more money - probably for the girl he left me for...) I hope to pay this back in 2.5 years not the 5 year plan I was given.

Anyway, I am determined and I will not fail

Also need to put money aside for America in May 2015. (125 a month) and also 52 week challenge. The reason I am going to America is its my 30th and my mum and dad are paying for this.

The first post is longer than I thought it would be I am so sorry!!

Hopefully I will be back on track soon xx

Don't worry they will be ganging up on you in no time. They (my 2 relevant males) have taken to talking to one another when I am in transit between our 2 homes (my son still lives with me, he's older than you!) & discussing what I need, what I need to do. The real pain in the proverbial is that they are usually right. But I know that it is only because they both really care so I find it very hard to stay cross with either of them, although I do tell off the ringleader (bf) from time to time.

Good luck with everything - you can do it.

Be smart about how you spend and keep track of it all, and give yourself positive affirmation for sticking to your savings goals because that is the only way to make progress every week, every month.

Sorry that you got left high and dry in this situation.

    You can do this! 😀👊🏼

Morning. 16 days til payday.... 16 long days.

How wild was that weather last night!!?? Tonight depending if it goes like that again my son has TKD but if weather bad again like last night will give it a miss not getting stuck on those back roads!

This upcoming weekend is a quiet one and following is Aberdeen for my birthday weekend

Still got some bills to go out. I hate mid month bills much prefer end of the month or on the 1st! Then it will finally be 28 days til payday. Dont judge that I am thinking of next pay day already lol xxx

    Morning 2 weeks til payday!

Got amazing news last night. My favourite author Rachel Abbott stated I won in her fb and is posting a prize to me. Honestly if its her autograph on a napkin will be overjoyed! Also Angela Marsons loved my comment when I stated how much I love her books about Kim Stone and how when a character died (wont say who incase anyone wants to read) I cried. I know I am sad but I love books more than anything. Its like Justin Bieber commenting to a teenage girl version to me haha.

    Hope all ok xx
