Need to get myself together: The beginning 16th Sep 14 at 12:38 PM
    Hi all

I am back. Short story, I was in this position before though holding a baby in my arms and his dad left us with a loan I got for him (I naively believed there was people after him) and such a bad overdraft. I managed to scrape it back and pay it all off and was on a high (figuratively) of being debt free.

Four years on I have been left (no baby this time) and foolishly beleived this guy was decent. No need to tell me off or should have known better, believe me I am my own worst enemy.

So now my debts are :

1,000 overdraft (hope to clear by Christmas or least by January)
200 odds Next (Yeah this is me I cannot blame anyone but myself here) I want it cleared by Christmas at least
5,000 loan ( I am mad I know for having got it for him and he "says"will help with this but will not hold my breath as he is already asking for more money - probably for the girl he left me for...) I hope to pay this back in 2.5 years not the 5 year plan I was given.

Anyway, I am determined and I will not fail

Also need to put money aside for America in May 2015. (125 a month) and also 52 week challenge. The reason I am going to America is its my 30th and my mum and dad are paying for this.

The first post is longer than I thought it would be I am so sorry!!

Hopefully I will be back on track soon xx

    Woohoo payday!!!

Paid another 100 off my overdraft at 550 now. Should be 500 but seeing end of month and will do day before payday. 500 now in savings and for couch ! Cannot wait until july and my couch!

Got Carlisle in middle June to see my friend, trains already been paid for and its in her house so wont spend much. Got Newcastle end of June and thats after next payday Plus I referred someone to my sisters work and getting 220 for that, so this will cover hotel and train for Newcastle !

This weekend gonna be a quiet one trying to sort myself out with things.

I also booked on booking.com my sisters 40th surprise. Overnight stay at Crown Plaza where she had her wedding reception. Dinner and breakfast included. Need to save 255 for this. Aiming to pay off by end of August.

    28 days until payday xx

I brought the letter in. Women in work agree its a joke. To phone tomorrow they think could be written off or even pay 10 per month back as normally they are very accommodating.. Will see tomorrow, after I ask for breakdown etc, from 2014 as well!?

22 days until payday. The communion box arrived and it is stunning. Need a nice bag for it to go in. Gonna shop online n browse see what I can get my friend for her birthday, if all fails a bottle vodka should do the trick lol.

    Thank you PMO2.

My niece had her communion over the weekend, she looked so beautiful <3

Other than that was a quiet weekend. Cleaned the house etc, though found a nest of spiders behind my lantern and a beast of a mammy.... lets just say you could have heard me scream from miles away. I eventually got rid of them and the big beast thank !!!! not without screaming whole time!

17 days until payday. Going to Carlisle this weekend hoping it will not be a spendy.... skint :P

    Hope all is well xx

Not an expert on this, however I believe they have to honour the price that you agreed with them, trading standards would be able to advise on this... usually when you mention trading standards to a retailer it works in your favour
