Need to get myself together: The beginning 16th Sep 14 at 1:38 PM
    Hi all

I am back. Short story, I was in this position before though holding a baby in my arms and his dad left us with a loan I got for him (I naively believed there was people after him) and such a bad overdraft. I managed to scrape it back and pay it all off and was on a high (figuratively) of being debt free.

Four years on I have been left (no baby this time) and foolishly beleived this guy was decent. No need to tell me off or should have known better, believe me I am my own worst enemy.

So now my debts are :

1,000 overdraft (hope to clear by Christmas or least by January)
200 odds Next (Yeah this is me I cannot blame anyone but myself here) I want it cleared by Christmas at least
5,000 loan ( I am mad I know for having got it for him and he "says"will help with this but will not hold my breath as he is already asking for more money - probably for the girl he left me for...) I hope to pay this back in 2.5 years not the 5 year plan I was given.

Anyway, I am determined and I will not fail

Also need to put money aside for America in May 2015. (125 a month) and also 52 week challenge. The reason I am going to America is its my 30th and my mum and dad are paying for this.

The first post is longer than I thought it would be I am so sorry!!

Hopefully I will be back on track soon xx

I have emailed about surveys for VO for not having been sent 15 yet and WoW for the 17 I hope to here soon
I will also send a message about media app. I think I will be cancelling this app after as my phone literally dies by like 2pm and not worth it.

VO is at 4.15 I completed surveys for today.

will do some OP today. I just could not be bothered yesterday.

PA is at 5 and 5 pending. Surveys are picking up, I think this is due to being near end of year PHD students etc dissertations etc being due .... could be wrong :P

I have that app on my phone and it does settle down a bit, I do have a spare charger in work though just to make sure!

I get 10 a month Amazon from that one so that will pay for my Amazon Prime and a few wee bits for gifts.

My PA has picked up a wee bit so it has

    Woo!!

So it turns out WoW was amazon vouchers so got 17 for that. I got my media 20 amazon vouchers and the valued opinions ended up being 10 but not complaining my VO is at 14 so hoping to cash that out.

I ended up with 50 in amazon vouchers so got my boy a new game for his switch (for being good and his confession, comp and easter all inc) and treated myself to a wand for my hair to curl. Ended up costing me 5.

Hoping to cash out 15 amazon today. Going to save up and buy myself a kindle. My phone is rubbish and I love reading xx

21 days until payday. My boy makes his confession tonight

15 days to next payday. VO is currently at 8.20. Should try do some OP today if I have time.

Next payday my signature should change on house deposit as I have tried to get every penny back to what it was. Finally xx

I'm with you on despising 5-week months! They're the work of the devil...

Sounds like you're making great inroads into building the deposit back up to where it was. Glad you've got the focus to do this and not just have the F-it attitude that some (ma, probably) would have and just keep spending

I think you'll manage it - you seem really determined and I always think even if it's not looking likely, if you really play around with things, you'll manage to make it work. Alternatively, if it rolls on to May, it's not the end of the world.

Have you seen anything else that you like? Or have you not been looking until you get your deposit back up to where you want it to be?
