The Good Morning Thread 5th Apr 14 at 6:17 AM
Well, we've got a goodnight thread so let's have a good morning one as well.

    Good morning everybody
Me and the dog have had our morning constitutional and shortly I shall be venturing forth to the big Tesco to do my fortnightly shop. When I get home I've got 3 hours work related admin and paperwork to do

The weather here is a bit nippy but at least there's no fog.

I have prescription strength Co-Codamol from my GP and use it sparingly as well. Constipation can be a side effect, plus codeine is addictive (banned in some countries). I never got on with Ibuprofen either, although it probably has a use for certain things ... ?

Agree with Flick about 'head in the clouds' too.

I don't take it that often so I'm sure (in fact I'm certain) I'll be ok

I know I sound like I'm preaching.....but ibuprofen really is awful stuff I do have a bee in my bonnet about it.

Although I never listen to Pyx and end up using heat pads because I can't bear the cold ones. Unless I have a migraine at which point I am deeply grateful for cold packs.

I also have a small stash of Diazepam .
10mg I think. If your doc will give you them of course.

If I want to feel drunk - I'll have some JD!

I have a veritable pharmacy at home....Gabapentin, Amitriptyline, Tegretol, Diazepam! I did have Naproxen but they have gone in the bin! The last time I took one of this was in Florida and it was like vomiting acid after.

I'm starting to like your style Flick - you sound like my GP.
    Codeine, Diazepam, Alcohol ....

When I was really stressed at one point, she did suggest that I go hone and have a couple of glasses of wine. To my knowledge, she's never rescinded that instruction ....

Good Afternoon all you sickly people, you're making me feel healthy

Not done a great deal today (just for a change) bit of housework, bit of fence painting, potted on a couple plants and am now awaiting the promised thunderstorms and torrential rain

The real work starts next week when it cools down properly.
