The Good Morning Thread 5th Apr 14 at 6:17 AM
Well, we've got a goodnight thread so let's have a good morning one as well.

    Good morning everybody
Me and the dog have had our morning constitutional and shortly I shall be venturing forth to the big Tesco to do my fortnightly shop. When I get home I've got 3 hours work related admin and paperwork to do

The weather here is a bit nippy but at least there's no fog.

I have a Middlesex cricket club hat in a similar style, good for keeping the sun off. Couple of weeks ago I bought a proper Panama that can be rolled up (not that I'm brave enough to try) from a hat shop off Picadilly and I'm very pleased with it.

Hats are about the only bit of self decoration I do, where I wear things beyond the purely functional. Although even they are for practical purposes as sunstroke isn't fun.

All this talk of hats has reminded me that I need to pack something for the weekend... either stupid cap or buff I can't decide... I'm thinking white buff, then I can fold it to have a neck cover (And can also stick it in any streams that I run past to help keep cool (or at least not pass out due to the heat)

I do own a proper straw hat somewhere but I've no idea where it is in my house. Do I need to dig that out as its the poshest one i own
