The Good Morning Thread 5th Apr 14 at 6:17 AM
Well, we've got a goodnight thread so let's have a good morning one as well.

    Good morning everybody
Me and the dog have had our morning constitutional and shortly I shall be venturing forth to the big Tesco to do my fortnightly shop. When I get home I've got 3 hours work related admin and paperwork to do

The weather here is a bit nippy but at least there's no fog.

    Good morning all

Back to work after my jaunt to Manchester over the weekend. I would have posted something but yesterday morning I was relaxing next to the canal in the sunshine having a coffee

The bits I was in were really nice, and the crowds were really good

    Good Morning all.
Rain hammered down all night but stopped now.
Glad you're feeling better today Pyxis, and hope you are too Joan

Dogs. Why do we have them? Why does it seem to be their main aim to kill us?

I took Bailie out the front on to the green at lunchtime to facilitate peeing. She peed. Then she spotted a doggie friend that she wanted to say hello to so she pulled, really bloody hard. I pulled back and had it all under control until my feet lost grip on the sodden, muddy quagmire that is supposed to be the grass.

It was like in the cartoons. My feet went from under me and somehow when I fell my legs and feet went right up in the air and I landed heavily on my back, mostly on the right hand side.

The end result is an incredible amount of agony whenever I try to cough, sneeze, move, breathe

Feeling a bit better this morning.

Did anyone see the new series of Plebs?

I like it because despite the anachronistic music and references, it is actually rather an accurate portrayal of Roman life!

I had believed that the last series was the last, so was very pleased to see it listed in the TV guide the other day.

It's very funny, imo, very well written, the sets are brilliant, and it has some stonkingly good actors in it.

Looks like MSE is doing something. Probably to do with the skins removal.

Plus it's driving me nuts, so I'm giving up for a while.

    Morning All!
Had my scrambled eggs and struggled to log on courtesy of Wetherspoons WiFi. Yes I do come here for breakfast most days

Will probably give up as well.
Hope that all unwell & injured parties are recovering
