The Good Morning Thread 5th Apr 14 at 6:17 AM
Well, we've got a goodnight thread so let's have a good morning one as well.

    Good morning everybody
Me and the dog have had our morning constitutional and shortly I shall be venturing forth to the big Tesco to do my fortnightly shop. When I get home I've got 3 hours work related admin and paperwork to do

The weather here is a bit nippy but at least there's no fog.

    Good Morning, voiceboxes!

Have still got a bit of a sore throat.

Got up at normal time though, mainly because I went to sleep early as I wasn't feeling too good.

Good morning, all. It is quiet here.

A full day, so I shall have feet up and reading The Guardian from cover to cover.

    Morning, all.

I have been awake for ages thanks to the sun and useless blackout linings.

Can blackout blinds be fitted on uPVC frames?

I've found that blackout lined curtains that are at least 6" larger than the window on all sides provide sufficient darkness in my bedroom for me to sleep.

For my lounge to get it very dark in daylight for the projector I have wooden horizontal ( "Venetian" ) blinds inside the window recess, just in front of the window itself (I drilled sideways into the outer block leaf rather than up into the lintel to mount them) and then blackout lined curtains as well.
