Well, we've got a goodnight thread so let's have a good morning one as well.

    Good morning everybody
Me and the dog have had our morning constitutional and shortly I shall be venturing forth to the big Tesco to do my fortnightly shop. When I get home I've got 3 hours work related admin and paperwork to do

The weather here is a bit nippy but at least there's no fog.

Good Morning Everyone nice sunrise here but it is cold my nose and eyes have been streaming on the way in due to the icy cold wind, it is not cold enough to stop a couple of hardy souls sitting on deck chairs, wrapped in sleeping bags, outside of a shoe shop waiting for the latest must have trainer, rather them than me.

    Bore da pawb!

Very wet & windy here, like DesertWind I woke up weirdly at 11.30 last night though I think it was because it was windy!

Having a valentines day buffet in work today

Also I was brave & took the plunge & dropped the lady in question a little message so fingers crossed something comes back.

    Good morning all

Tis wet and windy out there so I’m in the best place to be, my bed

Ah yes, Valentine’s Day. Just had a look to see what I got. Same as usual SFA

The last time I got flowers on Valentines was 3 years ago and that’s only because they came free with the new car DH bought himself
if you lend someone £20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it

    Good morning all

I shall come and join singles corner for valentines day. Today I am mostly being MSE and not spending money on tat just because the companies want to make some more money.

@Oakdene, what the hell is a valentines day buffet ... since when did stuff like that happen?

So I bought that and all the makings of his favourite dinner. Rushed home from work to set the table, lower the lights, slip into something alluring and waited

In he comes, chucks me a red rose he's bought from the seller at the station, says happy valentines, I'm busting for a c**p, and disappears into the loo

I took that time to change back into something a lot less alluring, turned the lights back up, and over cooked his steak

I can understand people queuing like that to get a £400 sofa for £50 or something, but designer trainers at full price? Words fail.

I was more impressed with the notes he used to leave me on the back of a bit of card he tore off me Tampax box
