Well, we've got a goodnight thread so let's have a good morning one as well.

    Good morning everybody
Me and the dog have had our morning constitutional and shortly I shall be venturing forth to the big Tesco to do my fortnightly shop. When I get home I've got 3 hours work related admin and paperwork to do

The weather here is a bit nippy but at least there's no fog.

    Good morning, little cough drops!

Still coughing, but it is on the way out.
I managed to get to my little AmDram demo yesterday, and wrapped up warm, but it was in a sheltered space and not windy, so it wasn't too bad.

    Silk undies, that's the secret!

Actually, Inde, they make them for men, too, vests, singlets and shorts or long johns, ideal for wearing under running gear as they're very light, wick moisture away, and keep the skin at an even temperature.
Go to www.patra.com and select 'mens' ......then select men's thermals, and/or sportswear.

They do silk socks, too, which are great for wearing under walking socks in boots, as they prevent chafing.

The pure silk stuff is best, but they also do silk-cotton mixes, and more recently they started doing bamboo stuff, but
I've not tried that. (I've heard bamboo socks fall to pi Ced quite quickly).

    Good Morning little humbugs!

I saw the supermoon just now, sitting nicely in a linear break in the scudding clouds, overlain by the bare, black branches of a neighbour's tree.

    It was very bright.

I di smile yesterday, though, when I read the article about it, as right down towards the end of the article it said that the moon would appear about 7% bigger, but that you wouldn't really be able to see the difference.

    More non-news, then?

TBH, if I hadn't known it was the supermoon, I'd just have thought it was the moon.

Morning, forgot my lunch today. Was doing so well as well, in work before 0730, already filled up the car with petrol on the way. Oh well!

    It's been non-descript here, weatherwise!

Annoyed, because after tippy-tap, I wanted to pop into Waitrose and get my favourite beer, but the car park was chokka full. Never known it so full before, but then I remembered it's market day, and one of the other car parks is out of action due to all the market vehicles, etc.

Plus Christmas mania, of course. I mean, there's only 3 food-shopping weeks to Christmas, so people just have to start cramming their cupboards full to bursting now, don't they! Humph!

Anyway, I didn't bother, just left and carried on home.

I must admit, when I do shop, it tends to be first thing in the morning..... no problem parking, and get in before it gets too crowded!

Tell you what was nice, though....... on my way to tippy-tap, I turned off a roundabout onto a dual carriageway, only to see a juvenile heron finishing his saunter across the carriageway, to reach the grass verge!

    Most unexpected.
I knew there were herons on the river, but have never seen one having a stroll on the road before!

I slowed right down to have a peer, before putting my foot down to burn up the highway!
