Well, we've got a goodnight thread so let's have a good morning one as well.

    Good morning everybody
Me and the dog have had our morning constitutional and shortly I shall be venturing forth to the big Tesco to do my fortnightly shop. When I get home I've got 3 hours work related admin and paperwork to do

The weather here is a bit nippy but at least there's no fog.

    Good morning little tinkerbelles!

I overslept. Woke up at 3am, cold, so fetched the duvet and went back to sleep, and didn't wake until 7! Aargh! Half the day has gone!

Had some weird dreams, too, in that intervening period. That actor chap, whatsisname, was in it........ the one that's in that new series..... will have to look it up as can't remember.

Anyway, I started watching it the other day, as it has loads of good actors in it, but it was terrible. What a disappointment.

The one about the therapist with a chaotic home life.

    Oh......clang! Steven Mangan!

    Good Morning, pipsqueaks!

    Too much cloud last night.
Might get a peek tonight if I can wake up at midnight.

But would you Adam and Eve it? Forecast for tomorrow night is clear skies at midnight - 01:00! Typical! Don't know if the Perseids will still be around then. Probably not.

I just can't believe how this always happens!

I wonder if Colin has had more luck?

Morning all, slept to 11.30 yesterday, 12 hours in total which I definitely needed.

Weather's been pretty grim here all weekend, not much sky to be seen, just cloud.

It's actually showing signs of brightening up here.

Mrs G wants the sitting room fire lit. She wanted it lit on Friday evening because she was cold. Being a dutiful husband, I complied. An hour later the temperature hit 30 and she was too warm.

Sun keeps trying, rain has stopped for now but just checked the updated forecast and it still shows rain all night with a break about 0100, so no meteor shower for me. I shan't be making any wishes.

I do plan however to watch one one of the Star Wars Trilogies at 6-30 on ITV2.

Just checked my forecast again, and whereas it had previously indicated broken cloud, now it's just cloud all through the night.

Tomorrow night it's clear all night.
Don't suppose there'll be any met ors left then, though.

It's gone very quiet here. My B.B. is crawling so I'm hardly bothering. Can't devote an hour to make two posts.

    Evening, all.

    Good morning, little liquorice sticks!

    Sunny here.

No luck with the meteors last night...... I set my alarm for midnight, and although there were a few breaks in the clouds, I couldn't see any.

I'm now taking these cosmological non-events personally.

Good morning, good morning, time to be up and at it.

Writers' group this morning, I've missed the last few. At least I've done my homework this time.

    Sunny but cool here.
