We have a what's irritating you thread, and I think we need a thread for things that have made us smile, etc.

Me - well, we have a puppy who is now 8 months. I let her out this morning and was hoping to keep the door open for her to come in. But it was too windy. I was stood by the door waiting for her, expecting to see her come down the steps.

I then heard a tap at the door. She'd come down the steps, which I hadn't seen and tapped to be let in. She also taps to go out.

I've switched broadband providers..got my latest bill from Virgin today..£50 for broadband plus line rental (which I don't use) I rang them to ask if they'd reduce it at all...they offered a £10 reduction...I told them I'd think about it.

Phoned vodafone, £21 a month as I have my mobile contract with them....which btw is only £8 a month for unlimited calls & texts.

Phoned Virgin to give them 30 days notice...guess what..they offered to find me another discount...told them not to bother..

    I'm now saving £29 a month!
    Goodbye Virgin and good riddance!

BT have been trying for yonks to get me to switch over to "superfast fibre" for "a bargain price"

I don't really need super fast BB so have been binning the letters. Got a letter the other day, they're switching everyone in this area over to fibre at the end of March and switching the copper wire system off so now I get their super dooper uber fast fibre for nowt

    I shouldn't laugh but....

Just seen a really annoying 5/6 year old mouthy kid fall face first in the stream It's only 2 inches deep but he got all his clothes wet and muddy and got shouted at by his mother.

    Happy days

Son, getting up from beanbag, tripped on his headphone cable. The sudden lurch & thud had both us parents spinning towards him & adrenaline spiking but we all steadied down & laughed like hugely relieved idiots.

Got to persuade him to upgrade his tech!

I'm watching a BBC. Wales programme, Tudur'S TV Flashback. Not only ate the clips themselves funny, but the voices of the interviewer are hilarious.

Supposedly Welsh but must all come from some strange area on the Cardiff/Oxbridge border.

Cadbury’s Rum n Raising chocolate is making a permanent comeback in the uk

    https://www.thesun.co.uk/money/10662655/cadbury-bournville-old-jamaica-rum-raisin/

They still sold it in Australia and New Zealand but good to see it back here

    Is that a mistake?

    2 x 100 gram bars for £2 will be better value than 1 x 180 gram bar for £2.04.

Mr Mac’s face just now when I suggested making an honest man of him!

Just to wind him up a bit more, I told him that he’s my second favourite sexy Scotchman after Christopher Lambert! 😂
