We have a what's irritating you thread, and I think we need a thread for things that have made us smile, etc.

Me - well, we have a puppy who is now 8 months. I let her out this morning and was hoping to keep the door open for her to come in. But it was too windy. I was stood by the door waiting for her, expecting to see her come down the steps.

I then heard a tap at the door. She'd come down the steps, which I hadn't seen and tapped to be let in. She also taps to go out.

Mind you, I have often wondered where my urge to run off the edge of cliff to see how far I could run through the air before realising that I was in mid-air before coming to a halt and pausing in mid-air before plummeting downwards, came from.

May sound amusing, but actually a serious and potentially dangerous condition. I did a couple of 'crazy' things on Friday btw, but at least they weren't a danger to either myself or others. And it was funny when the dog climbed into my shopping bag at the bus stop. What I had in there is 'my business' ...

    Probably TMI.

I'm not allowed to give blood (anticonvulsants are not good for sick people), so was really pleased to find I can do the bone marrow thing - and having read up on how & when to swab, I sent off my swabs & have been recorded & received both my card & my key ring fob.

I am just so pleased that I may possibly be asked to help save a life. (Meanwhile, onwards with the first aid training!)

I was told years ago that I couldn't be on the bone marrow register due to my medication, (I'd already known I couldn't give blood), so if I can be on it now, I'd love to apply!

What do you have to do?

Cleaning my chrome bathroom taps and using descaler on them too, and so seeing them shine to a mirror finish, with showroom quality, just like new!

I mean it can't be 'recycled' unless somebody has the unpleasant job of emptying each bag

Either that, or it goes to landfill.
