We have a what's irritating you thread, and I think we need a thread for things that have made us smile, etc.

Me - well, we have a puppy who is now 8 months. I let her out this morning and was hoping to keep the door open for her to come in. But it was too windy. I was stood by the door waiting for her, expecting to see her come down the steps.

I then heard a tap at the door. She'd come down the steps, which I hadn't seen and tapped to be let in. She also taps to go out.

Girl doggie just tried to bury her bowl of mince under an old tea towel I should be as she's made a right mess but her method of burying food is amusing. She's done it ever since we've had her, no idea why though

I was reading something yesterday about concentration camp survivors who, when released, felt a 'need' to conceal food and hide it under their pillows for a period of time.

I think I might have found a solution to my exploding tassimo milk pod problem, looked at the failed pod last night and it looked like two tiny holes in the pod were gunged up, I thought the solution might be heat the pods up in hot water first to make the concentrated milk more runny and thus less likely to block up, anyways it worked....

Watching them film some scenes from the TV program "Vera" in the Town at lunchtime, the choreography is quite interesting, strange how extras dressed up as ordinary people still manage to look slightly different and still look like extras.

Took non working motor from paint spray gun that broke this morning back to Homebase to get an exchange after phoning them to see if I could just exchange the motor to save cleaning out the rest of the gun.
Not only got an exchange but the price had been reduced since I bought it originally and they refunded the full difference
