We have a what's irritating you thread, and I think we need a thread for things that have made us smile, etc.

Me - well, we have a puppy who is now 8 months. I let her out this morning and was hoping to keep the door open for her to come in. But it was too windy. I was stood by the door waiting for her, expecting to see her come down the steps.

I then heard a tap at the door. She'd come down the steps, which I hadn't seen and tapped to be let in. She also taps to go out.

I love the amazing timelapse footage of the car on Hawaii getting swallowed up by the advancing lava.

As much as I hate getting dandelions in my garden, they really cheer up the roadside verges around here

A Spitfire just flew over my house.

Not uncommon, but always makes me smile.

Went to the fridge to take out some milk, and took out a bottle of wine instead!
Clearly a 'sign' that I was meant to have a glass, so I am although I don't normally drink in the middle of the day.

I should go into business selling them back to the clubs that have lost them

I've been walking in The New Forest for over 30 years, (not continuously) and for the first time ever I saw a spotted dinkey. Not this one as I didn't have my phone on me, he was so cute.

Bailie made me laugh yesterday. She's never been a jealous dog, has never really minded me stroking other dogs, but yesterday morning we met a regular dog walking acquaintance with his dog.

This dog always rushes over to me for a stroke and did just that yesterday. For some unknown reason Bailie decided she wasn't having any of that and as the other dog got to me Bailie body checked her out of the way. I swear she smiled when she did it

    Just finished watching Detectorists.

Started reading alongside Himself & listening to the music (blinking excellent - The Unthanks are glorious) & found I was paying more & more attention to the acting.

    Absolutely worth watching.

I just want to make it clear up front that this didn't make me smile in a pervy way

I know it's the time of year that stallions are let out onto The New Forest to do their thing, I just didn't expect to see it happening 3 times in the space of an hour, I didn't know where to look
