We have a what's irritating you thread, and I think we need a thread for things that have made us smile, etc.

Me - well, we have a puppy who is now 8 months. I let her out this morning and was hoping to keep the door open for her to come in. But it was too windy. I was stood by the door waiting for her, expecting to see her come down the steps.

I then heard a tap at the door. She'd come down the steps, which I hadn't seen and tapped to be let in. She also taps to go out.

A lovely lad called Reuben who is profoundly deaf started teaching BSL to other kids in his school. He has had an invitation to THE wedding!

I have seen Reuben on television before: what a brilliant kid!

This morning while out walking the dog, I spotted two cars on the lane ahead, and they were waiting for a couple of mallard ducks to cross the road to avoid hitting them before continuing their journey.

The ducks were still on the lane as I approached, and a big lorry was speedily going towards them before I could shoo them back on the pavement. However the lorry driver also stopped to avoid them. He sounded his horn and veered around them, then the ducks flew back towards the canal from where they came.

    It made me smile

Just found £25.20 when walking in the park with my dog

£20 note in one place, £5 note about a hundred yards away and a 20p coin just as I was leaving the park.

    No-one else in sight.

Watching Ambulance on BBC One and the banter between the Amubulance crew and a woman 101 years old is just brilliant....
