We have a what's irritating you thread, and I think we need a thread for things that have made us smile, etc.

Me - well, we have a puppy who is now 8 months. I let her out this morning and was hoping to keep the door open for her to come in. But it was too windy. I was stood by the door waiting for her, expecting to see her come down the steps.

I then heard a tap at the door. She'd come down the steps, which I hadn't seen and tapped to be let in. She also taps to go out.

Er, there are bag ladies better turned out than I, but they Care. I don't.

Besides which, the women who titter at my clothing choices do not have to teeter even 10 yards in my boots. I've tried wearing their shoes & endured the treatment for plantar (let alone the twisted ankles etc) in consequence - they can keep their pretty shoes & their pretty getups & their hideous priorities.

I'm just so happy to visit the podiatrist & be told I stand beautifully!

But at a big event like that the dresses are all on loan and some slebs are actually paid to wear them by the designer for the publicity.

Personally I don't care what anyone wears she says sitting there resembling a bag lady

The look on the kids faces at church when I did the ' fireworks in a glass' experiment.

Finally found the charger cable for my headphones. Had only used it once, when I first bought the headphones, but hadn't used them for a while, so the battery had gone flat.

I've been looking for it for about two weeks, and had exhausted all the places to look, then suddenly had a brainwave that it might be in a case where I keep recording stuff, which I also hadn't used for a while, and it was!

    Headphones are now a-charging!

I saw 2 deer in 2 different towns this morning

such majesty in their movement and the speed they travel without seeming to put any effort into it.

I've had a bit of an adventure today. First time I've gone anywhere other than a doctor's appointment since 2016, so I'm a little proud of myself (even if I did have to strongly resist the temptation to yell "turn around, go back!" a couple of times).

I'm struggling a bit at the moment with my usual post-having-to-talk-someone stuff and I was really craving...something. I finally realised that I wanted proper tea, specifically Earl Grey or Lady Grey, not that herbal stuff I've been drinking. After some raking, I discovered a single Earl Grey teabag. One is chuffed to bits.
