Things that made you smile 6th Jan 14 at 1:31 PM
We have a what's irritating you thread, and I think we need a thread for things that have made us smile, etc.

Me - well, we have a puppy who is now 8 months. I let her out this morning and was hoping to keep the door open for her to come in. But it was too windy. I was stood by the door waiting for her, expecting to see her come down the steps.

I then heard a tap at the door. She'd come down the steps, which I hadn't seen and tapped to be let in. She also taps to go out.

A wolf that escaped from the (fairly) local wolf conservation trust this morning has been recaptured without any harm to either the wolf or any other animals, including humans.

This is Torak, he travelled about 8 miles in his bid for freedom and was captured approximately 6 miles from where I live.

He is a mix of North American and European wolves. Around 12 I think.

Well done to all those involved, so glad he didn't have to be shot

I saw a deer this morning at 8am it just came out of the trees to my left and strolled majestically across to the trees on my right about 100 yards away
It was in no hurry, almost as if it had not seen us.

Looked out of the window & saw not the usual mess that is the back garden, but Narnia. With falling snow.
Blinked, reassured myself we shopped yesterday for Just This Reason, & stood watching for another four minutes. Just got the kettle on now.

Saw my first ever upside down snowman today
