Things that made you smile 6th Jan 14 at 1:31 PM
We have a what's irritating you thread, and I think we need a thread for things that have made us smile, etc.

Me - well, we have a puppy who is now 8 months. I let her out this morning and was hoping to keep the door open for her to come in. But it was too windy. I was stood by the door waiting for her, expecting to see her come down the steps.

I then heard a tap at the door. She'd come down the steps, which I hadn't seen and tapped to be let in. She also taps to go out.

    Dead Christmas Tree Refund
    Only in America:

    https://www.ksat.com/news/woman-returns-dead-christmas-tree-to-costco-gets-full-refund_

A California woman received a full refund from her local Costco after she returned her Christmas tree because it was dead. To the disbelief of fellow shoppers, the store granted her request and sent her home with her money.

I had a customer come in about 9ish (we shut at half past), she was veggie and wamting a sandwich, we had cheese baguettes but they had butter on and she was allergic. I went to see if one could be made wthout butter but we didn;t have the ingridients. I offered to cook her qa fresh pizza. She ended up with another sandwich, which i dnt think she wanted but it was all we had. I ended up giving her it for free to apologise for not being able to make her one up. We had a long chat and she ended up insisting that i pass her work details so she can praise me for being so helpful. Tbh i do that kind of thing everyday when i can and in 5 years of being there nobody has ever complimented me so i was quite taken aback. People can be very quick to complain so it made me smile that i made her day better.

    One amongst us already is

''There were multiple accounts of seeing Queen Elizabeth with !!!8216;green, scaly claws,!!!8217; and one account of seeing her !!!8216;black snakelike eyes with a yellow stripe down the middle,!!!8217; while others claim to have seen the monarch in her full-blown reptilian form.

    http://yournewswire.com/queen-elizabeth-shapeshifting-on-live-tv-goes-viral/

However as the trending topic began attracting attention the tweets with the #ReptilianQueen hashtag and the accounts behind them began to disappear.

The hashtag fell out of Twitter!!!8217;s top 10 trending topics and now appears to have been airbrushed from history by the social media platform''.

Blimey if that's my X ray, no wonder the office chair gives me backache.

Smiling at the random fact that the guy who I knew only as the artist with Morph - (Vision On, Take Hart etc) - Tony Hart was once an Army officer commanding Ghurkas. Somehow that doesn't seem wrong - the patience, the calm, the communicating without words?

The spoof DPRK Twitter Feed is sometimes good for a laugh:
