We have a what's irritating you thread, and I think we need a thread for things that have made us smile, etc.

Me - well, we have a puppy who is now 8 months. I let her out this morning and was hoping to keep the door open for her to come in. But it was too windy. I was stood by the door waiting for her, expecting to see her come down the steps.

I then heard a tap at the door. She'd come down the steps, which I hadn't seen and tapped to be let in. She also taps to go out.

I've been watching the repeats of Star Trek: Voyager, and it's just reached the part where Seven of Nine comes aboard, as an unplugged Borg drone! Yey! I love Seven of Nine!

This actually made me laugh..my future son in law, an avid gamer, was playing a scary video game, unaware that his daughter (my granddaughter) had come into the room and was stood behind him..

Not sure how it was picked up by the Daily Mirror though..lol

The squawk of outrage from son, peering over my shoulder, as he realises that various staff members have emailed me highlights from their photo albums. Ordinarily he manages to avoid the camera, but they've caught him, squarely, playing with friends & had the grace to share the fun with me.
Once he's settled down, I think he'll appreciate that I've only got the good shots & that I've not put any on Facebook (so far). However, in years to come, I'll be the Best Man's Best Mate &/or in a position to negotiate over care homes...

Don't tell my dog but when he lifted his leg to pee against a clump of thistles this afternoon and then lost his balance and fell into them, the look on his face and instant licking of his nether regions had me smiling like a dafty

I hate to drag this thread down to my level again but white dog poo made me smile this mornig

I got a roasted knuckle bone for my dog yesterday and he happily ground away at it for about 4 hours, not only did it keep him out from under my feet for a while but it also produced the said white poo this morning, all firm and easy to bag for the bin
