Hi guys,
I know there was a few of these questions, but my one is a tiny bit different.
I got a ticket from UKPC too, made an appeal, according to the signs on begining of the road ( parking is allowed ) and then i parked other side of the parking bays where were no restrictions( was only at the bays) . They refused my appeal of course.
So my question is , I should ask for the POPLA number or code, because they mentining it too on they letter? Does this whole letter of theirs has a solid base?
]2) Make an appeal to the independent adjudicator POPLA (Parking on Private Land Appeals) using the verification
code provided above. Please note that if you wish to appeal to POPLA, you will lose the right to pay the discounted
rate of £60, and should POPLA reject your appeal you will be required to pay the full amount of £100. If you opt to
pay the parking charge you will be unable to appeal with POPLA. Appeals to POPLA must be made within twentyeight
days from the date of this letter. To appeal visit link..blabla *( had to delete it ) ...
access the internet, you may appeal by post – this must be done using a POPLA postal form which may be
obtained by contacting POPLA by phone ...
What is supposto do now? should i pay , or this is still a scam?
Thank so much for the answers.
