Please forgive the corny thread title inspired by The Who, but this post on the bloated 'how do I make the most of it' thread prompted me to initiate a new one...
    Hi Everyone,
I haven't been here for a while, and am interested to see discussion of how much is being generated, rather than what to do with it.

It seems to drop below that figure before it reaches 13.55 (optimum orientation). Final figure was just over 14kWh.

BTW, there was an item about solar generation in Germany on the radio today; you can stream it here:

Just click on the speaker symbol on the left, then drag the time cursor at the bottom to 25mins 30 secs then release.

Slightly down on the month so far. East is down, West is up, been a week of good afternoon's after poor mornings, but a couple of top trump days ahead.

    PS. Too hot, again.

Seems we have the sun then as well up here. Expected in first 4 days 62kWh; actual 97kWh. Long may it last

4.7 Os today. It has been one of the sunniest days since we got the panels but I was quite surprised how the output per hour fell short of what it was doing a couple of weeks ago. Max today was just over 4kw under a clear sky compared with over 5 as recently as last week. Is this just the sun being lower in the sky or can atmospheric conditions we cannot see affect output? These instantaneous figures are taken from the Moixa Dashboard but when I checked on the inverter in the loft the figures are similar.

By the way the Moixa Dashboard has been revised with more screens and daily, weekly and monthly figures now displayed for output, battery power deployed and consumption. Not really the place for that here but I might provide some images on the domestic battery thread at some time.

Reached 20000kwh generated by our solar panels since we had them installed. That's quite a bit of CO2 and money saved!

Got 3.67 O's yesterday, but looks like the weather has now shifted. So far August is ahead and suggesting 103% if the rest of the month is average.

Year end projection is 30kWh's short of best year, 2014.
