    hello i am about to book 2 flights with travelgenio but i haven't heard of this website before and they are offering cheaper flights than ryan air's direct website for the same flights.

    I just dont want to be conned the website is

    Quick check shows it is a Spanish company, contact us shows telephone numbers as Spain, Their Spanish site shows they are in Madrid.

    They will not be covered by UK ABTA/ATOL/CAA registrations.

    If the flights are cheaper than the carriers website, especially RyanAir, I would be very careful on it.

    There is possibly an answer, if the flights are from Mallorca to Mainland Spain, perhaps other Balerarics, residents of the Islands can get lower fares on production of their residents ID card.

    i would avoid. I notice they have the IATA logo, but registration number not shown.. nor are they found when i looked on the IATA / ATOL / ABTA websites..
    Long time away in real life, no web..
    Sometimes seen lurking on competitions forum :-)

    I will avoid them, but i was dissapointed with liligo including them on their website and possibly letting people fall for their bad customer service

    I had a very bad experience with Travelgenio end of December 2011. They invoiced me for flights at a a different amount of money than what was confirmed, actually I was debited for more than confirmed by them, plus the payment was done in dollars, while the confirmation was in euros, so I had to pay more for my flights (I discovered all this while reading my bank records!), plus I had to pay some extra bank charges for payments in dollars !!! I had some doubts before booking with them, but now I will never use them again for sure.

    Hello, I had a bad experience with them re. payment, they charged more than what confirmed, plus I had to pay bank fees because the payment has been done in dollars and not in euros as confirmed previously by Travelgenio. They did not inform me, they don't try to find a solution for me. Very disappointing. They are new but don't think they have great success with this kind of practice. Good luck

    I'm currently having a terrible time, I'm due to leave for Heathrow at 2pm today and I realised last night that when they changed my flight schedule to fly from London 8 hours later than originally scheduled, they did NOT change the connecting flight. So at the monent I arrive in Delhi 3 hours AFTER my connecting flight has left. I rang Air India direct and they said they can't deal with me I have to go thru the agent, so after being on hold for 15 minus this morning I got thru to a guy who barely spoke English, seemed to realise the error and said he'd change the flight and email me back - they won't call they only email. 1.5 hours later no email, I'm just about to ring them back. In Madrid, at a cost of God knows what. I rang the London number for their office earlier and was on hold again for 15 mins and it had gone thru to Madrid again so I'd been paying to be on hold to Spain for 15 mins again. God help me if I ever get to my final destination today. I'm kicking myself for not noticing this error earlier but when I get flight schedules thru the time delays always confuses me. Nightmare.

    Thankfully they got back to me and I'm on a better connecting flight now but it arrives in Delhi only 45 mins before my other connection to Kathmandu leaves. Hope to God there are no plane delays, it's gonna be a tight one

    Never buy a ticket with this company.
    I had a very bad experience with them. First the price change at the moment you valid your transaction. And the worse is that when the booking is validated, you receive an email that says that in fact you have to wait 24hours before they can confirm you that your ticket is booked but you cannot change your mind and buy another ticket during these 24 hours. I have not received anything during these 24 hours, so I called them and sent them emails, meanwhile the prices increased. Today, I received an email saying that my first booking (270 euros) has been cancelled but dont worry we made you a new one with the same schedule for 480 euros and that they wait for my confirmation... They ruined my vacation since the tickets costs now the double.
    Never never buy a ticket with Travelgenio, it is the worse experience I had with a travel company they are not professionals.

    Je souhaiterais donner mon point de vue sur ce site de voyage travelgenio.
    N'achetez surtout pas votre billet d'avion via leur site web.
    Il n'y a aucun suivis de dossier, aucunes possibilites de consulter la reservation faite.
    Apres une delais de 24h, aucun mail ne m'a ete envoy! pour dire si oui ou non la reservation a ete effectu!.

    Apres plus de 48h, j'ai donc envoy! un mail demandant ce qu'il se passait, on m'a simplement dit que ma reservation avait augmenter de 200euros.

    C'est vraiment tres mal organis!, vous etes au pied du mur lorsqu'on vous dit que vous n'avez plus les tarifs annonc!s.


    Trust me it's not worth it for few $$. Take another platform.

    My girlfriend and I booked international flights from germany to africa for vacation. We received an email saying that our credit card was denied. We recieved this email 4 times over the next few days. So we called visa, they said it had been blocked and to book again. So we did. 5 days later Travelgenio decided to charge us for the original flight anyways. This is plain and simple outright theft! It is no wonder to me that Spain is going into recession. When we were FINALLY able to get through to customer care to ask that one of the flights be refunded, the man on the line was unhelpful and extremely rude. He even called my girlfriend a dumb american over the phone. UNACCEPTABLE!! Never again. I strongly urge ALL others to avoid using Travelgenio. Its sad that companies out there can be so greedy and untrustworthy.

    at the end i feel lucky... NEVER USE TRAVELGENIO
    i was stupid enough to book with an unknown agency, but I got the price from Momondo and thought they have some selection of respectful companies. I was specifically looking for GBP provider of flights and as the payment for my flights were made in GBP I chose them. They debited my card in euro instead (which I think is against the law) causing me the exchange rate fee plus my banks fees twice as they debited the card twice. In addition, it took over a week and during this time I had no certainty if the flights were confirmed. I can only imagine what those people booking for next day are going through. i feel lucky that nothing happened during my flights BUT will sure be keeping an eye on the reservation since who knows what these are capable of doing. learnt my lesson and will never book from an unknown agency, very simple!

    Unimpressed and will NEVER use again
    Horrible service so far. I booked about a week ago and within a few moments got the first conformation email which told me I needed to wait for the second conformation email (which I should have within 24 hours). I waited a few days and then emailed the company. No response, so I emailed the next day, there was no response. Today, I emailed the cancellation email address and I am waiting. What is shocking to me is I contacted the airlines itself and they stated there was NO flights leaving on that specific day from that airport... so how did I book a ticket?!?!?!? GRRRRRRRRRRRR

    Hello all

    I STRONGLY advise against using Travelgenio, they are on my black list.

    I think it is a borderline fraudulent operation.

    The flight prices are interesting and it looks genuine. I was surprised that they didn't have a "verified by Visa" credential system but I entered my card details and I was confident I would get an email saying the tickets are purchased.

    The NEXT day I am asked via email to enter my verified by Visa credentials through a link supplied with the email. (alarm bells should have been ringing)

    Following this I am thanked for my payment, but that unfortunately to get the tickets I need to pay a supplement fee of about a hundred euros because I waited too long to be verified by Visa. Or get a refund.

    This farce started three days ago and I fear I will not anything back.

    I still need to book a flight and now I am out of pocket by a serious amount of cash.

    DO NOT USE TRAVELGENIO! and good luck!

    I had EXACTLY the same experience as Timmeh. My card was denied and a few days later still charged! In the meantime, I had purchased a ticket for the same flight through a different agent. So there were two tickets for one single person on the same flight! Upon contacting them still refused to refund me.

    This is a pure crime!
    And Travelgenio is a criminal organization.

    The good news is (if it is possible) that Travelgenio react to tweets @travelgenio.
    It is a good idea to leave a tweet that will attract their attention.

    Their client service is and fair do to them they respond well and politely.

    I got my moneyback but it took almost a week, although it took them seconds to take money out.

    I will never understand this.

    just don't do it...

    I am still fighting for a full refund 4 months later. they admitted liability very early on but apparently their accounts section can take money out in the blink of an eye and yet need up to 45 days to refund... except that they have only refunded half so far. Very polite and shockingly poor at giving back the money

    No one can sell a Ryanair flight cheaper than Ryanair!! They have to book it on Ryanair's website anyway. If they sold it cheaper they would make a loss - which obviously no company is going to do, unless they are taking money and not booking the flights and are ready to go under.
