So I rang Natwest and asked for a new card and they tried to get me to open a new account so I had to incase I lost my card again. I spoke to them and explained about my BR and they said ah right no you wont be able to open a new account, he went off to speak to his manager and came back and said come back when you get discharged but we will keep this account as it is for now. He was really friendly. I think it helped I dont have any debts with Natwest though.

Thanks Tink, there are always going to be an exception to the rule and have seen some posters accounts untouched......however we hear more stories the other way unfortunately.
With me I had a Nationwide flex account and they weren't a creditor in my BR, they downgraded my account to a cash card + account and still use it today......as I say I was lucky tbh
