    Official MSE Insert:

Thanks to Grimbal for starting this thread, where compulsive Rightmove browsers share their funniest finds. Scroll down for Playboy mansions, unusual extensions, toilets in wardrobes and mysterious presences under bedcovers.

    Back to the original post...

Thought I'd start off a new thread as the other one was getting to be pretty long. The old thread can be found here.

How about starting up a thread dedicated to the interesting properties that we come across in our searches ?

I'm guessing these guys don't invite their granny over to watch TV

Brings a whole new meaning to the phrase "en suite bathroom". I wouldnt fancy having overnight visitors if I lived there one way or another....

Was browsing earlier as we are thinkign about putting the wifes flat up for sale and noticed THIS.

Flicking through the pics it just looks like an average 1 bed flat - needs some decor, bit of upgrading etc.

    Then look at the floorplan.

A shower room behind the TV in the living room?!?!

I really don't get why someone would actually do that. Unless Stevie Wonder designed it lol.
I'm actually baffled by it!!! Very odd.

That wouldn't just be a "rip everything out" job - it would be a "Where's the rest of the kitchen?" job too. Answer - in one of the bedrooms (I've never seen a fridge/freezer in a bedroom before now...).

EDIT; Just seen last post - glad I'm not the only one that thought that. I think one of the reasons is all that dark furniture - not helped by the poor light the photos were taken in. Though I did think "How on earth can a garden be so bare and barren?"...

Must be one of those estate agents the "locals" automatically go to - rather than seeking out a decent one (as per DaveNave's recent comment). I looked for the floorplan to see just how one would re-model the house - and it was missing.

Spot the sheep, the race track and the typical EA speak. I used to drive past that place regularly and the name always amused me even when it was being built One day I must find out it's origins

Surely that's a mistype on the price??

A house near me had the warning that viewings were done at your own risk - surprised this one has got a similar warning
