    Official MSE Insert:

Thanks to Grimbal for starting this thread, where compulsive Rightmove browsers share their funniest finds. Scroll down for Playboy mansions, unusual extensions, toilets in wardrobes and mysterious presences under bedcovers.

    Back to the original post...

Thought I'd start off a new thread as the other one was getting to be pretty long. The old thread can be found here.

How about starting up a thread dedicated to the interesting properties that we come across in our searches ?

I'm guessing these guys don't invite their granny over to watch TV

No indoor toilet in this property (hence why its cash only) and outdoor loo is probably behind the gate to the left on pic 7.

How many other properties in the UK don't have an indoor loo today?

I was well into my teens before my mum finally relented and let dad install a loo in the bathroom (curtesy of a council grant). She insisted that we kept the outside loo, though, as she was adamant that an indoor loo was 'unhygienic' - and was only to be used at night or if we were ill.

Mrs Pants: You mean you crap out of the window.

    Edmund: Yes.

Mrs Pants: Well! In that case, we'll definitely take it! I can't stand those modern, dirty indoor things.

Not sure what's going on with that room with the green squares wallpaper - I *think* it might be a sliding wardrobe that has wallpaper on the doors.

And she never did get her head round the fact that when Mr S and I bought our home (early 1990s) it had three toilets - all indoors. She kept saying 'but why have you got three loos when you've only got two bums between you?'
