    Official MSE Insert:

Thanks to Grimbal for starting this thread, where compulsive Rightmove browsers share their funniest finds. Scroll down for Playboy mansions, unusual extensions, toilets in wardrobes and mysterious presences under bedcovers.

    Back to the original post...

Thought I'd start off a new thread as the other one was getting to be pretty long. The old thread can be found here.

How about starting up a thread dedicated to the interesting properties that we come across in our searches ?

I'm guessing these guys don't invite their granny over to watch TV

Why on earth did the builders put the window of the 3rd bedroom in the side wall rather than the rear?

    - Then the money runs short and we have to move into it before it's ready

    - Then I get fed-up with him taking his time/starting a bit here and a bit there - and right now we're heading for the divorce courts.

The agent shows their inexperience by speaking of 'renovation,' when all it needs is finishing. No sign of incompetence in the work done. I have seen much, much worse.

It's a problem that is keeping house prices of large houses artificially low as their either being bought to demolish so it's only the value of the land being traded or sold off incomplete. You can buy a 5-7 bed for not much more than a 4 bed.
