    Official MSE Insert:

Thanks to Grimbal for starting this thread, where compulsive Rightmove browsers share their funniest finds. Scroll down for Playboy mansions, unusual extensions, toilets in wardrobes and mysterious presences under bedcovers.

    Back to the original post...

Thought I'd start off a new thread as the other one was getting to be pretty long. The old thread can be found here.

How about starting up a thread dedicated to the interesting properties that we come across in our searches ?

I'm guessing these guys don't invite their granny over to watch TV

Entire house has an 80s vibe. That corner bath is horrible,

And the shot of the front of the house left until last.

For once that might be best but on the other hand, having been sold a certain style, albeit in rather cramped circumstances, is there anywhere that it is appropriate to show that this is actually a rather depressing and ugly terrace?

Just how many lights are needed to see one's evening meal?

Like a number of things in this end terrace, a stone's throw from my least favourite road junction, the owners seem to have gone slightly OTT.

I'd say over-developed, though still no downstairs bog.

Is that pub carpet in the kitchen?!!

No handsink in the downstairs slashpit either. Yuck, how unhygienic.

Edit: love the agent's description of it as a "MASSIONATE"!

Buying a house, if you believe the market has a way to fall, or if you are paying sill asking prices ( like some sheeple ) or if you are buying in London, is now a massive financial gamble!!!!! - June 8, 2012 by TheCountOfNowhere

It won't be - anyone who hoards like that won't be moving of their own accord. More likely that the poor person has died and the family are selling the property 'as seen'.

Monochrome photos? No, just a house expensively refurbished to be entirely devoid of interior colour!
