    hi everyone

New on here not new to debt was married for 10 years and we seperated so i took any debt that was in my name and he took his debt

By OMG what a mess got my credit card statement in and it was for £6000 and this was may last year but i've ploughed extra money into this credit card every month and i'm thrilled to say that in 16 months i am just above the £3000 mark

    Debts June 2009
    Capital One Card £6000
    BOS CC £1700
Car Finance This finished in August 2012 @ £124 a month fixed payments
DFS Couch This finishes 2013 @55.63 a month fixed payments

    Debts October 2010
Capital One Card £3245.39 Paying £200 a month into this
BOS CC £1559.81 Paying minimum payment of £34

I have cancelled my Capital One Card so just paying the balance off interest is roughly £50 a month but last year is was over £80 a month so saving £30 already

Also do not have my PIN number of the BOS Card either so haven't spent on wither card since June 2009

My plan is to concentrate on the Capital One Card and if i continue paying £200 a month i will have this cleared in 18 months so it'll be paid off in April 2012 but my aim is to have it paid off before xmas next year!!!!

The the BOS card will be paid off using the excess £200 plus the £34 it'll only take me 7 month to pay that off which by that time i'll only have paid the final instalment of my little car so i'll have £360 a month spare so will whack that into my couch.

well it's a plan and so far i've stuck to it for a year and feel good esp when my ex husband complaining he's up to his eyeballs on debt when he went on a spending spree and bought a 10 grand car

My kids are 8 and 4 and they are even getting into the frugal life my daughter heads to the sale rail of any clothes shop or the reduced counter at supermarkets and she loves getting bargain

    sorry to waffle on lol

    Evening

    Hope you're all well

Busy and long day today worked from 7.30am til 6pm

Set up playgroup 28 kids came was mega noisy too

My wee baby mindee wasn't himself poor wee souls nose wouldn't stop running and he was just miserable poor wee soul xx

Put him down for a nap and the older ones played the Xbox so they were quiet I stripped my bed and put my new bedding on ......looks lovely xx

Wee one woke up just in time for mum collecting.....one leaves and another one starts took three boys to the post office doesn't £2.20 on postage on 2 letters

Came home had a snack, another mindee gets picked up so the other two boys just chilled out watching mr bean

Last mindee got picked up at 6pm so went and made a weight watchers friendly chicken curry

Filed some paperwork for one if my mindees need to chase it up as it's classed as very urgent

Sold another bundle of clothes got £20 they tried to haggle further but told them no as the stuff I was selling was very good condition and you couldn't buy that amount of stuff in the charity shops for that price so stuck to my guns and they came and collected it means I have £32 earmarked for the bank tomorrow which I will send straight across to the Halifax account tomorrow afternoon

Someone is meant to be collecting the final bundle tomorrow at 5pm we shall see as I've had plenty of timewasters regarding these bundle of clothes, if they do it's going straight to the Halifax

Right waffled on long enough I'm off to bed xx

    Morning

Working 8am til 4pm today not too bad mindee is having his breakfast

Sent the £32 towards the Halifax now just need to remember to use the cash in my purse to go towards the school uniform shipping for Xander

Yes that's right it's the dreaded uniform shopping with the boy we need shirts jumpers and trousers plus a scientific calculator as he's off to high school.......budget is £75 not sure if it's possible but we are off to Tesco today to see if we can make a dent in it also need to remember to put my £5 Tesco vouchers in my purse ........so budget is £80 now so expensive and I've still got abbie to get and I won't get her uniform grant in until she's been confirmed at being back at school cause she's 16.

Before we do the uniform shopping we are off to the soft play......it's just a room full of bouncy castle but kids love it and I get peace for a couple of hours xx

Will take packed lunches with us so it should be a cheap day out for the kids.......hoping they little ones will be tired by the time we do the school uniform shopping they'll sit at peace

Also need to nip to homebargains on the way home for shampoo conditioner and paper towels as have ran out

Off to get the colouring in stuff out as mindee is wanting to draw xx

Hope you all have a lovely day

Dinner was lovely we went to weatherspoon.......hubby paid even better

So I'm drained today didn't want Tod get out of my bed this morning

Soft play was £8.40 for three kids not bad plus I took snacks and packed lunches

Nipped to homebargains and got my shampoo, conditioner, paper towels, drinks for us and a banana hanger........is the that the right thing to call it spent £11 in there

Managed to get to Tesco got four pairs of trousers and four shirts for Xander and a scientific calculator for £37

Still need to get him jumpers though

Nipped to matalan as Abbie wanted black shirts .......there's always one difficult child isn't there managed to get three of them for £21 and a pair of leggings for me £6

So a bit of a spendy day

Oh and the last bundle of clothes have been picked up for £13 for them which will be going towards the Halifax card tomorrow

Hoping to send a large payment tomorrow as tax credits are due so it should take a wee chunk out of my wee target xx

Well as you can see I've taken a chunk out of my mini target

Tax credits paid us extra because last years wages were no where near what we estimated

So I sent the extra money towards the Halifax card I knew it was coming but didn't want to count my chickens until it was in my bank bye bye £800.99

This leaves me with £359.88 to find by the end of the month this I hope I can do

Was working another one of my extra shifts so started work at 8am will finish at 6pm tonight and I wonder why im tired

Took the kids to the cinema £10 for four tickets went to see Patrick it was quite funny

Obviously we went to Asda spent £4 on snacks for the kids, fruit for me and a drink for me

After the cinema nipped back into Asda to look at school jumpers .......there was none got loads of yellow ticketed items spent £10 that's our packed lunches sorted for tomorrow's trip xx

Really need to get on with my ironing pile I haven't got the notion but it needs done xx

Have the blind company coming round tonight to give me a quote for replacing the slats on my blind in my bedroom hoping it's not too expensive xx
