    hi everyone

New on here not new to debt was married for 10 years and we seperated so i took any debt that was in my name and he took his debt

By OMG what a mess got my credit card statement in and it was for 6000 and this was may last year but i've ploughed extra money into this credit card every month and i'm thrilled to say that in 16 months i am just above the 3000 mark

    Debts June 2009
    Capital One Card 6000
    BOS CC 1700
Car Finance This finished in August 2012 @ 124 a month fixed payments
DFS Couch This finishes 2013 @55.63 a month fixed payments

    Debts October 2010
Capital One Card 3245.39 Paying 200 a month into this
BOS CC 1559.81 Paying minimum payment of 34

I have cancelled my Capital One Card so just paying the balance off interest is roughly 50 a month but last year is was over 80 a month so saving 30 already

Also do not have my PIN number of the BOS Card either so haven't spent on wither card since June 2009

My plan is to concentrate on the Capital One Card and if i continue paying 200 a month i will have this cleared in 18 months so it'll be paid off in April 2012 but my aim is to have it paid off before xmas next year!!!!

The the BOS card will be paid off using the excess 200 plus the 34 it'll only take me 7 month to pay that off which by that time i'll only have paid the final instalment of my little car so i'll have 360 a month spare so will whack that into my couch.

well it's a plan and so far i've stuck to it for a year and feel good esp when my ex husband complaining he's up to his eyeballs on debt when he went on a spending spree and bought a 10 grand car

My kids are 8 and 4 and they are even getting into the frugal life my daughter heads to the sale rail of any clothes shop or the reduced counter at supermarkets and she loves getting bargain

    sorry to waffle on lol

Agree with Jwil not bad at all. I hope he finds something quickly!

What will he do with the garage?

What's his dream car? My dream car went out the window when 3 kids came along

I hope DH finds a job soon. 3k seems a lot to lose. What would be involved if he was a silent partner?

    Evening

    It's been a great day........considering it's Sunday hubby's in a fab mood

Did the accounts for the playgroup this morning so that's all up to date then I swept the back patio of all the dust and debris and shifted the table in chairs which have seen better days tbh so they will eventually get replaced

Got two washloads out third is in the washing machine

Went to my nieces birthday party can't believe she's 5 already

Hubby has started applying for jobs now he's also looking at perhaps retrading perhaps to joinery as he put our kitchen up or plumbing as it's working with pipes so we will be sitting town tonight to figure out which way he would like to go down xx

So all in all it's been a nice day

Luke was lucky then as he had been taught those ones but I totally understand what you mean, it's very unfair. The last geography question had been taken out of the curriculum this year, but the Sqa in their wisdom decided to just throw it into the exam for the fun of it obviously! Only worth 6 marks, plonkers! The school is putting a complaint in but it's very unfair on the kids during the exam, it really knocks their confidence. Just hoping the rest go well xx

Ps Did you read any of the tweets about where Chris can shove his umbrella?

    It's manic here lately

Juggling 9 childminding kids during the week is exhausting with my own three kids but it's Friday

Set up playgroup today 18 kids attended took the boys to local cafe as I was meant to be saying goodbye to one of my mindees (mum messaged me last night saying her wee boy was so upset about leaving me she's asked if he could still come to me on a Friday woo hoo I'm so happy) so spent 7.80 on lunch

Took Kk to nursery then had to pick him up 45 minutes later to take him into his school class drop him off pick him up a hour later come back, drop him off at nursery, pick the school kids up, pick Kk up come home..........phew managed to fit in a wee visit to my gran in between all this xx

Finished work at 5.15pm boys came and finished the rest of the fence woo hoo

My new parent hasn't paid me yet she's in for a shock when I refuse childcare next week as I've allowed her to come back after she used to be a student and I ended up out of pocket won't be making same mistake twice

I've paid over 1300 so far towards my tickets getting think I have four weeks to go we shall see how far I can go xx

Kids are going to their grans tomorrow night me and hubby are getting a Chinese and chilling out

Hubby is looking into retrading into gas engineering it's pretty similar to mechanical work but it's based indoors so his uncle works for a college and has sent him info on a course which guarantees a job at the end of it, he would get a bursary and his friend has offered to give him a labour job on the days he's not working so things are looking up.............he's still looking for a job that'll do him til September but it's a plan and I'm all on board xx
