    hi everyone

New on here not new to debt was married for 10 years and we seperated so i took any debt that was in my name and he took his debt

By OMG what a mess got my credit card statement in and it was for £6000 and this was may last year but i've ploughed extra money into this credit card every month and i'm thrilled to say that in 16 months i am just above the £3000 mark

    Debts June 2009
    Capital One Card £6000
    BOS CC £1700
Car Finance This finished in August 2012 @ £124 a month fixed payments
DFS Couch This finishes 2013 @55.63 a month fixed payments

    Debts October 2010
Capital One Card £3245.39 Paying £200 a month into this
BOS CC £1559.81 Paying minimum payment of £34

I have cancelled my Capital One Card so just paying the balance off interest is roughly £50 a month but last year is was over £80 a month so saving £30 already

Also do not have my PIN number of the BOS Card either so haven't spent on wither card since June 2009

My plan is to concentrate on the Capital One Card and if i continue paying £200 a month i will have this cleared in 18 months so it'll be paid off in April 2012 but my aim is to have it paid off before xmas next year!!!!

The the BOS card will be paid off using the excess £200 plus the £34 it'll only take me 7 month to pay that off which by that time i'll only have paid the final instalment of my little car so i'll have £360 a month spare so will whack that into my couch.

well it's a plan and so far i've stuck to it for a year and feel good esp when my ex husband complaining he's up to his eyeballs on debt when he went on a spending spree and bought a 10 grand car

My kids are 8 and 4 and they are even getting into the frugal life my daughter heads to the sale rail of any clothes shop or the reduced counter at supermarkets and she loves getting bargain

    sorry to waffle on lol

Well it's been a successful selling day on fb I have a lady coming round tomorrow morning for my gold earrings

She's buying them at £50 not the £80 I was hoping for but I'm not greedy which means this weekend I would have made £98 and £175 for the whole week

Sorry I'm waffling but I'm so chuffed in two weeks I've managed to put £238 not bad for selling stuff we no longer use and I'm decluttering at the same time

    Afternoon

Thought I would jump one before I collect afterschoolers

Was super busy yesterday as usual

Managed to get 6 surveys from PA yesterday now have over £20 but I'll hold off til the end of the month and cash out then

Did day 14 of 30ds yesterday as well was snoring at 10.30pm

Been a spendy day today went to the town for toddlers but before we went there I picked up abbies letters for her anxiety for school / exams so she can hand it in tomorrow

Nipped into farmfoods and got two loaves of bread for £1.50 and a packet of sweeties for the kids £1

Then it was off to Game to swap over hubby's faulty game poor hubby but it's swapped now

Then we nipped into card factory for Mother's Day cards......could not for the life get a gran one......plenty of nan, nana, nanny and grandma got my gran a sparkly one spent £1.88 in there

Then we went to toddlers £3 kids had a riot and too many biscuits

Hopped on the bus and came home and had lunch, dropped the kids off at nursery then started my next shift

Nipped back into the town to go to the butchers for a 5kg tub of chicken £19.99 and a row of 20 burgers £8.39 then popped into lidl for veg, bananas, cold meat, mushrooms and eggs think I spent just over £7

Finally got my bank card today after I lost the other one last week got all excited about ordering my revolut card so we can use it over in Florida instead of incurring bank charges if we were to use our card topped it up of £50 instead of £10 silly me so had to shuffle some money over what a plonker

Sorted out some of my clothes and one of my mindees mums have bought £20 worth of clothees so she picked them up today and it's went straight into my Florida tin still got loads to get rid of but hoping they'll go soon xx

Working til 6pm tonight so don't know if I'll get to do my fitness video but I will try if I finish early xx

Right off to get ready for the next shift

    Morning

Don't start work today til 10am so thought I would crunch some numbers before Kk wakes up

Sent another £47.23 to the Halifax seeing as the council have paid me for the funded government sessions I offer

I need to put in another £19.98 into the Halifax before the 11th of march as that's when's my new statement is available and so that I can say I've out in another thousand in the Halifax within the statement period

Got the financial adviser coming round tonight at 6pm to go over the remortgaging process it's finally here........last time he was here in November the Halifax was sitting at just under £6k so here's hoping he can get us a good deal xx

Thanks guys financial adviser said he should be able to let us know by tomorrow morning if he can help us reduce our mortgage so fingers crossed

Sent another £10 towards the Halifax card only £9.98 til I've paid off another £1000 within my statement period

Phoned our holiday company and asked for an extension on our payment deadline so we've managed to get it extended til 30th April as it'll be getting put on the credit card and we don't want big purchases showing whilst we are remortatgaging as our remortgage date is 29th April so the day after so I'm going to continue smacking this Halifax until I need to put the holiday on it

Parent has asked me for 4 extra hours today can't complain extra pennies for the Halifax due to get paid off this parent next week so far she's wracked up £46 in overtime this month.....

Have a meeting at the school at 5pm for his London trip, money is there for it needs to be paid by next Friday not impressed t as we've had no info regarding this trip away so a bit last minute but they're proper badgering us for the money he doesn't go away til May tho xx

Might have a extra wee job on a Monday night after childminding helping out at a taxi office of one of bobs friends would be 6pm til 12am but a extra £50 in my pocket so need to figure out if we can make it work xx would be great to have some extra pennies xx

Off to make lunch for me and the wee one xx
