    hi everyone

New on here not new to debt was married for 10 years and we seperated so i took any debt that was in my name and he took his debt

By OMG what a mess got my credit card statement in and it was for £6000 and this was may last year but i've ploughed extra money into this credit card every month and i'm thrilled to say that in 16 months i am just above the £3000 mark

    Debts June 2009
    Capital One Card £6000
    BOS CC £1700
Car Finance This finished in August 2012 @ £124 a month fixed payments
DFS Couch This finishes 2013 @55.63 a month fixed payments

    Debts October 2010
Capital One Card £3245.39 Paying £200 a month into this
BOS CC £1559.81 Paying minimum payment of £34

I have cancelled my Capital One Card so just paying the balance off interest is roughly £50 a month but last year is was over £80 a month so saving £30 already

Also do not have my PIN number of the BOS Card either so haven't spent on wither card since June 2009

My plan is to concentrate on the Capital One Card and if i continue paying £200 a month i will have this cleared in 18 months so it'll be paid off in April 2012 but my aim is to have it paid off before xmas next year!!!!

The the BOS card will be paid off using the excess £200 plus the £34 it'll only take me 7 month to pay that off which by that time i'll only have paid the final instalment of my little car so i'll have £360 a month spare so will whack that into my couch.

well it's a plan and so far i've stuck to it for a year and feel good esp when my ex husband complaining he's up to his eyeballs on debt when he went on a spending spree and bought a 10 grand car

My kids are 8 and 4 and they are even getting into the frugal life my daughter heads to the sale rail of any clothes shop or the reduced counter at supermarkets and she loves getting bargain

    sorry to waffle on lol

    Evening

I'm shattered done day 4 of 30 day shred

Was meant to be working 7am til 5pm but got a message at 6.15am saying my wee 7am mindee wasn't coming unfortunately I couldn't go back to sleep as had to stay awake to phone the doctors for Abbie as her hips and pelvis are popping and clicking

Managed to get an appointment for 10.30am they are referring her to the hospital as they haven't seen anything like it in someone so young......another thing to worry about

Sent £5 towards the Halifax card xx

Nipped into Asda on the way back and ended up spending £21.97 on the new Lego ninjago movie as well as something for lunch and juice for everyone seeing as we were walking

Now sitting here aching from my exercise DVD

    Morning

Cleared my Argos card today woo hoo another account at zero in time for remortgaging now to fully concentrate on the Halifax card

Also sold another of my Yankee candles for £20 so that will be going straight into the tin when I get it

Sold a pair of shoes on a auction type fb page only getting £1 for them but been trying to sell them for a while so just happy they are going and not going to the charity shop extra pennies for the tin no matter how small so will be putting more little bits on there just to clear some space at the weekend

Sent £14.61 towards the Halifax will aiming to get this under the £3k mark by Sunday hopefully as I'm due paid off one of my parents so I'll be putting that straight into the card

Abbies off to weekend camp with cadets and the boys are going to their grans tonight might actually get a decent sleep tonight as Kk woke me up in the middle of the night so I might absolutely shattered

Working 7am til 2pm need to set up playgroup and after wee one is away I intend to get my exercise DVD out the way then I'm going to chill........who am I kidding I'll be getting on with my housework

    Happy Friday peeps xx

Day 7 of the shred done

Was working 8am til 5pm set up playgroup which was quiet only 14 kids showed up

Took the boys to nursery then started shift number 2 she's a wee cutie .......we hunted for dinosaurs.......actually I was trying to find all the dinosaurs scattered around the boys room so we made a game of it

Decided to put the little table and chairs that were in the boys room so put them on fb for £10 someone is collecting them tonight at 7pm which is going straight in my Florida tin plus space in the boys room is always a bonus xx

Put the boys signed pikachu picture on the wall and put the boys Lego dimension figures on top freeing some space on their drawers xx

Abbie pulled her unit away from the wall and there was a big mould patch spray it with mould remover and looks like it's never been need to get bob to seal the Ariel cable coming in from outside to stop water travelling alongside it when it rains

Sold my candle hubby brought my money so put the £20 straight into the tin and hubby put in another fiver in

Sitting here waiting for my dinner to be booked I'm starving
