Abba1772's Debt Free Diary 26th Oct 10 at 11:38 PM
    hi everyone

New on here not new to debt was married for 10 years and we seperated so i took any debt that was in my name and he took his debt

By OMG what a mess got my credit card statement in and it was for £6000 and this was may last year but i've ploughed extra money into this credit card every month and i'm thrilled to say that in 16 months i am just above the £3000 mark

    Debts June 2009
    Capital One Card £6000
    BOS CC £1700
Car Finance This finished in August 2012 @ £124 a month fixed payments
DFS Couch This finishes 2013 @55.63 a month fixed payments

    Debts October 2010
Capital One Card £3245.39 Paying £200 a month into this
BOS CC £1559.81 Paying minimum payment of £34

I have cancelled my Capital One Card so just paying the balance off interest is roughly £50 a month but last year is was over £80 a month so saving £30 already

Also do not have my PIN number of the BOS Card either so haven't spent on wither card since June 2009

My plan is to concentrate on the Capital One Card and if i continue paying £200 a month i will have this cleared in 18 months so it'll be paid off in April 2012 but my aim is to have it paid off before xmas next year!!!!

The the BOS card will be paid off using the excess £200 plus the £34 it'll only take me 7 month to pay that off which by that time i'll only have paid the final instalment of my little car so i'll have £360 a month spare so will whack that into my couch.

well it's a plan and so far i've stuck to it for a year and feel good esp when my ex husband complaining he's up to his eyeballs on debt when he went on a spending spree and bought a 10 grand car

My kids are 8 and 4 and they are even getting into the frugal life my daughter heads to the sale rail of any clothes shop or the reduced counter at supermarkets and she loves getting bargain

    sorry to waffle on lol

    Afternoon

Kids are watching frozen.......I'm singing the tunes kids are looking at me as if to say shut up

Started work at 8am will finish at 6pm

Xander is off school he's in a lot of pain poor wee soul

The rain was torrential this morning so we didn't make it to toddlers but a bonus is I saved £7 by not going and bus fares

Kids had a cheeky packet of crisps for their snack so you can imagine what happened......yip crisps everywhere so had to hoover the bedroom ended up hoovering the upstairs hallway and my bedroom at least that's a job out of the way

I've managed to get five surveys from PA today have £20 confirmed and £9.35 pending.......all money raised from surveys goes towards xanders school London trip whichever needs to paid by middle of march which is £270 so far I have £25.71 in my savings account for it nearly £30 in PA and £7 in qmee so it's all building up

Sent over £57 towards the Halifax card home insurance money has landed in my account so I've transfered it to the savings account so I'm not tempted to go on a spending spree

Delivered another avon order after dropping kids off at nursery I now have enough to pay off my invoice so I'll be doing that when I pick the kids up from school

Dug out the dinner from the freezer so I'm organised

I'm giving the medicine for Xander til tomorrow night to start working otherwise it might be a trip to the hospital the poor wee thing xx

    Morning

I'm still aching from all the walking I did yesterday but at least my legs have stopped throbbing did over 22000 steps according to my Fitbit I better lose something this week I've been trying very hard

Managed to colllect about £170 in avon orders last night and I delivered two avon order totalling £31 so that's sitting in my purse although Abbie need ten pound for her cadet weekend trip so I better set that aside......still have a avon order of £44 to be delivered hopefully she says paying today as promised

Have sent £48.22 towards the Halifax this morning.........I am £86.25 away from where I started paying this card off in July might see how's pennies are and pay something towards it over the weekend

Not working til 3pm today but still need to set up playgroup this morning and my boys are still sleeping

I've deceived for January I'm aiming to hit £1000 of paying off some debts as you can see from my signature I'm only £125.21 away from this so might be a tight squeeze

Didn't get paid properly by the college again this month, it's seriously making. Me questions whether to take on college students in August again as it's not the students fault it's the colleges fault it's £15 but this is the third time they've not paid me properly so now I need to go and !!!! off my student and inform her they've mucked up again x need to wait for the postman to deliver my invoices and double check

Off to wake my lazy boys xx

Aww I thought I had a nsd day today but I forgot I paid playgroup fees of £1.50 aww well at least it was a lsd today

Somehow managed to collect more avon orders without trying now I have £280 in orders and this is without my big regular order customers

Poor Kk has another lump on his head silly monkey wasn't watching where he was walking silly billy but he wanted to go to nursery so he went

Managed to print off some paperwork for a potential mindee on Monday mum is looking to start him on Thursday which means I'll be full again and a extra £56 a week.......thank goodness fingers crossed she signs him on as hours as hours as perfect for my 7am til 2pm so they fit in nicely with the kids I already have

Also sorted out some of my mindees paperwork it's never ending

The girl who was meant to pay for her avon today did so so that's it all the avon is accounted for I have money in my purse for the weekend

My bank phoned me about us remortgaging was mortified at what rate we are on just now so we have an appointment next Saturday to see what our options are and hopefully we can secure a better deal would be handy as means I could easily send overpayments to the mortgage via my app

Lost half a pound bit bummed tbh but a loss is a loss right

Sent £100 towards the Halifax bringing it under where I originally started in laying it off in July been a hard slog but I'm glad I'm under now still need to find £25.21 before the end of January to hit my thousand target

Is it wrong that I've just realised that my council tax doesn't get paid for two month and I'm excited by this as I'll have £130 to fling towards it on the 1st February hope the bank don't see it as a negative that I'm sending all my spare cash towards the credit card as I want it down as soon as possible

Hope you all have a fab weekend xx

    Evening

How's everyone this Monday.......I'm tired this wind keeps battering at my bedroom window and it's not letting me get a sleep

Was working from 7.30am til 5.30pm they've not long left

Grabbed a showers before I started work then wiled the bathroom down so it was all nice and sparkly

Set up playgroup today 17 kids attended cost me £3

Brought kids back and got lunch and took the kids to nursery

Started round two of my shifts just decided we would have a building blocks and pretend kitchen day.......the wooden burgers were delicious plus plenty of singing

Sent £3.73 towards the Halifax card only £21.48 til I hit £1000 paid off in January woo hoo xx

Someone came and picked up two rolls of wallpaper I was selling on fb got £10 straight into the Florida tin forgot I hand let over paper

Got a few other bits for sale on fb so we shall see how we get on

Picked the kids up from school and nursery came home and omg noisy noisy noisy children today they clearly have the Monday feeling or I have no patience due to lack of sleep

Requested £40 from PA so it's winging its way to my circle account once it's in my bank account it's getting transfered straight to xanders London trip fund

Abbies needing a new phone hers is el gubdo told her to hang fire until after we've remortgaged then I'll get her a new one she's found a iPhone 6 for £319 think that's £14.50 a month but she's been told she'll be paying us the money for it when she hits 16 as she will be entitled to £30 a week if she's stays on at school are she hits 16

Off to make dinner abbies just patted me down for another £10 for her weekend camp need a cash machine up my bottom

Abba1772's Debt Free Diary - won't be beaten
    Well what an eventful evening

The trolls struck about 6pm on Monday 29th January cause they had nothing better with their time and yes my diary of 8 years was caught up in the commotion and and I'm very angry about this especially as MSE refuse to reinstate my original diary so here it I sent my shiny new diary

I won't let bullies win just annoyed that 8 years of my journey have been wiped as I loved looking back and seeing how far I had come since leaving my ex husband and being in a horrific amount of debt due to his spending

So join me on my rambling that is my life which consists of me, my wonderful hubby and my three kids as well as me working full time as a Childminder and a avon rep as well as volunteering to run a local playgroup in my community two times a week........I must be off my head
